► This is a themed, short story, writing contest which basically means that there will be a theme for every cycle that takes place. Prompts will also be provided. The genres vary from crime fiction to fluff, or it can revolve around quotes from books or famous poems. The rules will change accordingly, so pay attention to the updates.
► for the third cycle, it will take place over a span of 20 days instead of the usual 10. judging will commence right after for approximately 7 days.
► You will be judged based on how well your story relates to the cycle's requirements as well as your grasp of the language. No bonus marks for your posters/backgrounds, but you will be penalised if your story is formatted in a way that is difficult to read. There will be 5 judges, as stated in the foreword. Depending on the number of entries, we will read 1 or 2 stories each, and then give a score. after which there will be a reshuffling. At the end of that, we will come together and decide on the winning stories.
► For this round, what we are looking for is how well your two different styles complement each other and how well your chosen theme is incorporated into your story. for more information, please check chapter one.

► (3) No plagiarising. You will be reported.
► (4) The story must be created only when the prompt and themes are released and it must be finished by the deadline given.
► (5) We do not condone tardiness. Late entries will be disqualified. The timezone we're following is GMT -5 (eastern standard time).
► (6) one-shots are accepted but chaptered stories are encouraged. however, the word count limit is 20k words so please take note!
► (7) Submissions are due 20 days after the release of the theme and prompts of that cycle. if you require an extension, you can ask but we will only grant you a day.
► (8) It can be of any pairing and any genre as long as it relates to the themes and prompts. If you decide to craft an original story with original characters, you can post it on FanficOverflow and link us that story.
► (9) you must have written the story with the person you are collaborating with. be honest please!
► (10) For this cycle, you are to pick a number from the prompt page. We will then give you the prompt. You can choose to change the prompt number only once.You are not allowed to back out once you have entered else you will be required to pay a penalty fee. comment your prompt number and your karma penalty fee.
► (11) Any bands and/or idols can be used. You can write a story based solely on fictional characters as well.
