The Replacement Doll
Description
Kim Jongin, son of the wealthiest businessman in town, is a spoiled brat whose most prized possession just so happens to be a life sized doll who he calls D.O.
But when his father's personal assistant, Joonmyun, accidentally knocks the doll out the window while Jongin and his father are away, Joonmyun needs to find a replacement doll that's a replica of the one of a kind original--and fast.
And who better to use than Joonmyun's best friend, Kyungsoo, who looks exactly like the destroyed doll?
Foreword
"I need you to do something for me," Joonmyun told Kyungsoo, his eyes darting around the room, their gaze never resting on any one object.
Kyungsoo leaned forward in his chair, fingers laced together in his lap. "What?"
"You know that ed up doll my employer's son has?"
"The one he carries around everywhere? Like, everywhere?"
Joonmyun nodded, chewing on his bottom lip. "I accidentally, sorta kinda, well, knocked it out the window while I was rearranging the furniture in Jongin's new bedroom..."
Kyungsoo blinked a few times before bursting out into a fit of laughter. "AHA, YOU FOOL! You're screwed, man. YOU'RE SCREWED!"
Joonmyun gritted his teeth. "Do you honestly think I don't know that?! That spoiled brat loves that doll more than anything else and because of me, it's lying shattered on the sidewalk near the house! So, please, Kyungsoo, can you please help me out here? You know I can't lose this job..."
Kyungsoo stopped laughing, a devious grin plastered on his face. "I'll help you. What do you need me to do?"
"I need you to be D.O until I can get a replica of the real D.O. So, about a week."
Kyungsoo's grin vanished.
