MAIN CHARACTERS

Park Chanyeol is 23 and a father. Moved out from his parents at the age of 21, to live and partially take care of Jungsoo at the tender age of 3. He spent 2 years after his graduation just lazing around. No party, no drunk nights out, but a few friends coming in every other day to help him take care of Jungsoo and his ugly sobbing. He blames the responsibility he's taking up to a woman named Yerin, who he unfortunately hasn't seen for the past 4 years. He has the initiative to find her, if only his parents aren't such careless people of the past, only ever believing that if a person's gone for good without notice, then they're gone for good and probably not going to come back.

But the thing is it's been due time that Chanyeol finds a job that could fit his lifestyle with a son that his parents wouldn't help him in taking care of and a degree in management. His parents say that seeing Jungsoo only makes their headache as they're reminded of her selfish ways, so Chanyeol had no other choice but to take Jungsoo with him as soon as he graduated. The money flowing in his bank account was good for a couple of years, thanks to his parents. To be honest, that's his only saving grace in the matter, but only for a while because his parents had to face issues of retirement as well. 

Now Jungsoo is 5 and he's getting rowdier as each day passes and Chanyeol's not sure he could handle him anymore if he's applying for a job. It's a good thing a newly established daycare is in tow and Chanyeol thinks for a while that he could be saved after all.

Byun Baekhyun is 21 and in his last year of college. He takes up child development in university all for his love of children and youth. In relation to that, he's got a love for knowledge and teaching and would very well like to become a teacher when he graduates. Sure, teaching might be a tough job to take, but Baekhyun's all up for it. In fact, his parents are very proud of him for this and gave him a house he could live in alone too soon. Not only is he a filial son, but a person capable of caring and love that they think he would excel in the art he's studying for. 

But before actually graduating, Baekhyun finds ways in which he could put his patience and capabilities to the test. So with the help and company of his best friend Kyungsoo, he finds himself volunteering in a newly established daycare just a few kilometers from home and exactly a kilometer away from university. Baekhyun finds the daycare really dear to him if only for a few weeks of volunteering every after school and even on weekends when he could, until a child named Park Jungsoo stumbles in his life and on his place of reverie with parents refusing to answer his calls of taking their son home when the daycare has closed.

Park Jungsoo is well... Jungsoo, 5 years old and Park Chanyeol's son. He is named Jungsoo for the sole reason that it sort of sounds like chance in Korean, excluding the 'bu' in bujeong su (부정 수). His English name is also Chance for a reason. He sort of looks like Chanyeol, probably because of the genes. He's just got a smaller pair of eyes and chubby cheeks Chanyeol loves to poke for fun. (Dennis Kane is the ulzzang baby, because ohmygosh he looks like mini Chanyeol)

SUPPORTING CHARACTERS

Do Kyungsoo. Baekhyun's best friend and partner in crime in almost everything. They have the same course and are both volunteering at the newly established daycare. 

Kim Joonmyun. Founder and owner of Funshine daycare. Caring hyung who's fond of children and generally people younger than him.

Kris Wu. Chanyeol's first friend at work and apparently also his corporate executive he's assisting. Not really very nice, but understanding.

Luhan. Comes out later on in the story. Proves temporary distraction to Baekhyun and Chanyeol’s gives him the twitch for it.

Kim Jongin. Comes out later on in the story. Chanyeol’s best friend who creates chaos of everyone’s once known peace. Figuratively, anyway.

Soojung. Jungsoo’s sworn enemy in the daycare, until things change.

Yerin. Unknown.
