Two people who meet as strangers but grow to be the two best of friends, but is this necessarily a good thing?

Like most stories and feelings the two develop feelings for one another but never admit to each other, each go on with their lives together being there for each other through thick and thin. If one of them confessed that they had feelings for a certain person the other would deal with it and try to "help" them get the person that they are infactuated, but what they wouldn't know is the fact that when they confessed their feelings for a person they liked it was just them trying to erase the strong feelings they have for the other.

IU and YoSeob have had this relationship for years, both having strong feelings for one another but never admitting it. They try to tdate people who are like the other or try to have feelings for them but they are later disappointed because it isn't the person that they really want. 

Will these two ever be able to congess their love each other? Or will they end up just hurting themselves?

Lee JiEun has always been a sweet girl throughout her life but her only flaw was the fact that she was perfaps too nice of a person and just very shy. Her and her brother Gikwang along with their family had moved to Jeju Island when she was at the age of 8 because of some problems withing the family that they were having but she was never told the details behind it all. New to Jeju Island she beings to walk around her street when she bumps into a boy that looked around her age by the name of YoSoeb, they began to play and from that day forward they became close friends, he even gave the nickname IU. As years pass she gets closer to YoSeob and he always protects her in any way from anyone or anything that comes to try and harm her, she begins to develop feelings for him but is too shy to confess so she goes on and takes advantage of the fact that they are close friends and stay by his side. Now she is in High School and is still hanging around YoSeob and his friends when two new students come into the school by the name of Yoon DooJoon and Jang HyunSeung, being kind she begins to talk to the two and starts to slowly part away from YoSeob's side becoming closer to DooJoon. Everything is well until she feels that there is something a bit off about the two students, she shrugs it off but still keeps an eye on the two new students.

Yang YoSeob had been living on Jeju Island since birthm he was always a friendly person to anyone and everyone he met. YoSeob had always hung out with his two close friends Yong JunHyung and Son DongWoon and never really hung out with any of the girls in his neighborhood despite the fact that they all wanted to be around him. He just didn't feel too comfortable around girls until a new girl had moved in, Lee JiEun. JiEun didn't live right next door or down the street but she lived close enough to him that he could just  bike to her place, he didn't know why but something about her made him feel at ease. As years pass he has always visited JiEun, who had started to call IU, to play and he even introduced her to JunHyung and DongWoon and was also introduced to her brother Gikwang who played along with the four. The five of them played together throughout their lives building a strong bond that no one could even try to break, this bond had carried out to High School and the five of them are enjoying themselves. YoSeob begins to realize that he has feelings for IU that are more than friendship, but fearing that he would ruin their bond with his confession he doesn't say a word to her about his feeling and instead stays by her side as her secret white knight. Although he has to go through having to hear her talk about other guys he still stays by her side trying to help her in any way he can, but one day his patience with sitting back and watching ends. Two new students come into the school and practically take IU away from his side and he doesn't know how to react to this, will he be able to stay as her white knight or will he just have to somehow find a way to erase his feelings for her and carry on with his life.
