August 25. 12 days after Jonghyun and Yoona’s break up. Both were having their respective time with work and with themselves. Yoona’s the busiest with their comeback promotions while Jonghyun’s busy with their preparation for their upcoming album.

August 17 when MBC announced Jonghyun and Seungyeon leaving We Got Married. It was mainly Jonghyun’s decision after breaking up with Yoona. He did realize that Yoona has suffered much with their relationship and so leaving the reel-married show would make her happy. Both of them suffered with the issues they’ve gone through and ending their relationship means ending their issues and start anew by themselves.

 

Yoona was on a pictorial when she learned from the internet about the news. While seated on the waiting area,

 

“He must be crazy. What is he doing? Cham.” Yoona thought while reading the news article.

 

And then suddenly, text messages from her closest friends started to arrive.

 

From: Seohyunnie~

Unnie! Both of you are free now! Go and date Oppa again!

 

From: Taeyeon unnie

Jonghyun must be doing something now! Go and accept him again okay?!

 

From: Kang Minhyuk~

Noona! Did you see the news? It’s really happening now!

 

From: Jung Yonghwa Oppa

Yoona, I really hope this would eventually lead to you and Jonghyun patching things up. Fighting!

 

“Yaah. Everyone’s happy. Hmm. I’m happy. But ahmm. Yah. I miss you so much Lee Jonghyun. Until when will I wait for you?” Yoona thought.

 

She then continued browsing and then continued with her work.

In the evening, Jonghyun was home and just spending some of his time alone.

 

“Yaaah. I love you so much Yoonga. We love each other so much that we did crazy things. I’m here now. Just wait for some more time Yoona. I’ll be better. I’ll fix myself. Wait for me. I’ll be back to you. I miss you so much.” Jonghyun had his thoughts.

 

Jonghyun woke up early. He stayed on his bed and browsed his phone. He checked some news about Yoona and some others with his phone. Out of the blue, he finally sent a message to Yoona.

 

To: My Love~

Good morning :)

 

Yoona was already awake and preparing for their filming when she saw his message.

 

“Oh my goodness! He texted me! What will I do? Should I reply? Omo!” Her heart started beating faster. Without thinking, she replied.

 

To: My Love~

Good morning. It’s been a while. How have you been?

 

And then they started exchanging text messages.

 

To: My Love~

Yeah. It’s really been a while. I’m good. I’m getting better, for you. You? Your comeback is amazing. I really refused myself to text you. I don’t know… I think it’s about time I win you back. If you’ll let me.

Thank you. We’ve been very busy since last week and we’ll be promoting until September. Me too. I really wanted to text you and to call you but I think it’s not okay. Thank you for texting me. This means a lot. Really.

The album is daebak. I bought my own copy and for my entire family. Hmm. Ei, you should’ve texted me. But anyway, I’m here now Im Yoona. Hmm. What about tonight?

Yoona didn’t know what to feel. It’s really happening now. He’s coming back to her. She quickly moved as her manager arrived and she headed to SBS.

 

Jonghyun got up from bed and excitedly prepared for his event for Yoona.

 

“This is my time. I won’t let go of you. Not in anyway.” Jonghyun thought.

 

He ate breakfast quickly and then he drove himself to a nearby flowershop to send flowers at SBS. After, he drove to a fast food chain and ordered food for Yoona and for the entire SNSD team.

 

It was already 10:50 in the morning when Jonghyun arrived at Prism Tower. He called Yoona’s manager and he quickly answered.

 

“Hello.” The manager answered.

“Hyung. This is Lee Jonghyun.”

“Oh! Jonghyuna! How are you? Yah. It’s been a while. How’s being without Yoona? Haha.” The manager while outside the waiting room.

“Hyung, I’m good. I died during those times but now I’m alive and ready again. Haha. Where is she?”

“She’s getting her hair and make up done. Wae?”

“I’m here outside Hyung. Hmmm. I have here flowers and foods for everyone. Mind to help?”

“Haha. Wow. Okay okay. I’ll be there with my staff.”

“Great. Hmm. What’s her schedule after The Show?”

“They will be filming for the V App. After, you can take her.”

“Really? Okay okay. I don’t have my schedule today. I’ll join you.”

“Sure huh? Today will be a long day.”

“Kenchanayo Hyung.”

“Alright. Wait for us there? Where exactly are you?”

“At the back parking.”

“Okay. We’ll be there.”

“Kamsahamnida Hyung.”

“No worries. Bye.”

“Bye.”

 

The manager then called for his companion and without saying anything to Yoona. They head to the parking and saw Jonghyun’s car.

 

Jonghyun immediately stepped out of the car with his shades and cap on.

 

“Annyeong Hyung!” Jonghyun, holding a bouquet of flowers with a card.

“Oh! Is that for her?” Yoona’s manager asked while the staff was on his back.

“De Hyung. The rest are for you and for the girls. Allow me please to ask for your help carrying them to the waiting room.”

“Of course.”

 

The manager and the staff started carrying the bags with flowers and with food plus a bag full of Lion Heart CDs. Moments after, together they walked inside the building and headed to the waiting room.

 

The entire room were shocked as Jonghyun entered first the waiting room. Seohyun was busy texting Yonghwa on her seat after getting her hair and make up done; Taeyeon’s chatting with Tiffany, Sunny’s reading uer script for her radio show, Sooyoung’s eating with Hyoyeon and Yuri reading a book, when they all stared at Jonghyun while removing his shades and cap.

 

“Annyeonghasseyo. I’m Lee Jonghyun of Busan. How have you been?” Jonghyun bowed with his 90 degrees and then stayed frozen for a couple of seconds.

 

Yoona don’t know how to react when she first saw Jonghyun after their break up. Jonghyun’s aura looked refreshed; just the same wavy hair, plain shirt, sandals and ripped jeans, his face, pale. She kept her eye on him and trying to hide her smile.

 

“Oppa! Long time no see! Thank you for visiting!” Seohyun shouted.

“Lee Jonghyun! Finally!” Taeyeon stood up and cheered for Jonghyun. “Thank you for coming back.” Taeyeon patted his shoulder.

“Aish. Kamsahamnida Noona.” Jonghyun smiled.

“Wohoo! I smell some kiss and make up today!” Yuri teased while stealing glances at Yoona.

“Right!” Sunny seconded.

“We should eat to that! Right oppa?” Hyoyeon said and then referred to her manager.

“Yoona-yah! Now you’ll have the reason to eat well again! Hahaha!” Sooyoung teased.

“Ei. Unnie, aniya.” Yoona blushed and then looked at Jonghyun.

“Yah yah! These are all for us! The flowers are for the girls and these snacks are for everyone!” Yoona’s manager shouted as he walked to Hyoyeon with the staff.

“Waaah!” Yuri stood up and then the rest pf the girls followed except for Yoona.

“You’re doing the right thing man.” Tuffany patted Jonghyun’s shoulder and then she followed the girls with the food.

 

They had some more greetings until Jonghyun was left alone at the middle of the room while the girls grouped themselves over the food and over the flowers. He then sat beside Yoona and watched the two stylist get her make up and hair done.

 

“These flowers are nothing. You’re way way far more beautiful than this. But I hope you’ll still accept it. This is to let you know that you're like these flowers, fragile, lovely, beautiful.” Jonghyun handed the flowers to Yoona with a card. “Please read the card I wrote.” Jonghyun looked at Yoona smiling.

“Thank you. Thank you Lee Jonghyun.” Yoona don’t know what to feel. She’s getting nervous with Jonghyun’s presence.

“You’re very pretty. Noona, thank you for always enhancing her beauty. Yaah. I just fell in love again.” Jonghyun, serious in throwing mushy words.

“Hahaha. You’re so cheesy. Please let us finish this so they can start recording.”

“Oh. Sorry. Am I bothering everyone? Aigoo. Im Yoona, miane. I’ll just stay outside and wait for your filming to finish.” Jonghyun stood up.

“Shhh. Andwe. Please. Stay here. Stay beside me.” Yoona’s mind blowed and she just grabbed Jonghyun’s hand and locked it to hers. “Don’t leave.” Jonghyun’s heart started beating faster. Yoona just held his hand.

“I won’t leave. I won’t leave you no more. I’ll be here for you. Forever.” Jonghyun sat on the seat beside Yoona and just sticked his eyes on her.

“Ayiiii!” The two stylist giggled.

 

“We heard that right!!!” Hyoyeon teased the two from the group.

“Eii~” Jonghyun blushed while holding on tightly at Yoona’s hand.

“Aish. Cham.” Yoona, hiding her smile.

“Don’t bother us!” Sunny said while counting the CDs they will sign.

 

After some more teasing, Yoona finished her hair and make up.

 

“Oppa, I’m done.” Yoona shouted as she stand up, still holding on to Jonghyun’s hand.

“Okay okay. We can have the camera rehearsal then.” The manager said.

“Girls! Get ready.” The manager continued as he walked outside to inform the PD.

 

Immediately, the girls get ready, except for Yoona, still with Jonghyun.

 

“I think my timing is not that okay.” Jonghyun said while looking at Yoona.

“I think so. But your presence here means specially a lot to me.” Yoona, serious on Jonghyun.

“So ahmm. I’ll just wait here and watch over the screen?”

“Hmm. You can go outside and watch the filming. It will only take 3 or 4 takes then we’re out of here.”

“Okay okay. I’ll go and watch you.”

“Thank you.”

“No. Thank you. Hmm. I want to talk about us. But ahmm. I need some time with you alone.”

“Sorry I’m so busy huh? Right after the filming. But ahmm, we have to head for our live broadcast. Can you wait until tonight?”

“De. I don’t have schedule today. I’m just here okay?”

“Okay. Mmm. I have to go now. Follow and watch okay? I’ll be looking at you there.”

“De.”

 

Yoona let go of Jonghyun’s hand and started focusing on work. Jonghyun followed the girls as they head to the studio and had their camera test and their recording.

 

The Girls started their rehearsals and recording immediately. Jonghyun stayed at the dark side of the stage with the SM staff. Jonghyun can’t hide his feelings. He’s extremely happy for being able to watch Yoona again and be with her again.

 

Yoona on the other hand, conscious but happy because she knows for a fact that Jonghyun’s just on the side of the corner watching over her. She played with her unnies and they continued filming until after lunch.

 

As the PD said “Okay”, the girls headed back to the waiting room to change clothes and to eat before leaving for their filming.

 

Jonghyun followed the girls at the waiting room and stayed beside Yoona while she’s changing her clothes.

 

“Ei. You should be staying outside. We’re changing.” Yoona while rushing in removing her costume with two stylist.

“Omo. Ye ye. Miane.” Jonghyun rushed to walked outside and waited there.

 

People just passed by at Lee Jonghyun without knowing that it was him. 10 minutes after, Yoona walked outside and pulled Jonghyun’s hands in.

 

“I’m done.” Yoona said as they stayed at the corner of the room while everyone’s busy eating and some taking selcas and some signing CDs.

 

“You did well. You’re so beautiful with your costume. I missed seeing you sing and dance.” Jonghyun smiled and caressed Yoona’s face.

“Because you seldom visit me here.”

“I’m here now. Where do you want to eat lunch?”

“Can’t leave. Ahmm. Can we just eat here?”

“Yeah. I bought a separate food for you.”

“Really? Come. Let’s eat then.”

 

Then the two walked at Yoona’s corner and sat on a monoblock chair; the most side area of the table.

 

“I have here your separate food. I bought your favorite.” Jonghyun bringing out the food from the paper bag while Yoona’s holding the card Jonghyun wrote.

“Thank you Jonghyun. I have here your card. Do you want me to read it now? Or later?”

“I don’t mind if you’ll read it now. That’s what I’m feeling here.” Jonghyun said as he pointed his heart.

“Okay.”

 

Yoona then opened the card and started reading aloud.

Yoona’s tears fell as she finished reading the card. She looked at Jonghyun and just stared at him for moments; she remembered the happy memories they had, the times when they were at their happiest because of each other. She let her eyes tear and then she stood up and came near Jonghyun.

 

“Lee Jonghyun, please stand up.” Yoona pulled Jonghyun’s hand and locked to hers.

“Ye.” Jonghyun, clueless on what Yoona will say.

“Oppa, unnie. I have something to say. Please let me have your attention please.” Yoona made her voice louder. “Just a minute please. Oppa, kindly lock the door, unnies, oppas, stop filming please. This is important.” Yoona wiped her tears and then focused on Jonghyun.

 

“Lee Jonghyun. We hurted each other. All of them witnessed our struggles and our triumphs in our relationship. Those 12 days were the longest days I’ve ever had. I have been very busy with our comeback but then I can’t rest because you’re running inside my mind. I can’t function well because I know something’s missing, and it’s you. Yoona cried while everyone’s watching the two talk. Lee Jonghyun cried and turned his head down. Yoona slowly walked closer to Jonghyun and then finally, they hugged each other and both, cried harder.

“I love you too. So much.” Jonghyun said and then he broke the hug and quickly kissed Yoona’s lips with so much passion and energy.

 

As they kissed, the Girls started giggling and some started taking photos and videos of the two. They shouted and teased the couple but they just continued kissing for some more moments.

 

Yoona then finally broke the kiss and hugged Jonghyun again.

 

“I missed you so much Love.” Yoona said, smiling and looking at her unnies giggle to them.

“I missed you.” Jonghyun kissed Yoona’s neck and then broke the hug. “Stop crying now.” Jonghyun wiping Yoona’s tears with his hands.

“You too. Sorry, your lips.” Yoona wiping some remnants of her lipstick on his lips.

“Hahaha. I love you.” Jonghyun kissed Yoona’s lips again.

And then the two faced the people watching them and then Jonghyun started speaking.

 

“In front of everyone, I, Lee Jonghyun, promised to love Im Yoona with all of me; mind, body and soul. We will face a lot bigger problems but I know our love will suffice. I love you so much Im Yoona. I love you.”

“Stop this now!” Taeyeon shouted as she walked to the couple and gave them a hug.

“Yohoo! Finally!” Seohyun, cheering while following Taeyeon.

 

And then the rest of the girls followed and then the SM staff.

 

“Please stay together and never break up again.” Yuri told the two.

“Yah. Lee Jonghyun, take care of our Yoona.” Hyoyeon added.

“Yoona-yah, take care of your Lee Jonghyun okay? No more scandals.” Her manager said.

“Ye ye. Kamsaheyo.” Yoona replied to everyone.

“Kamsahamnida.” Jonghyun giving his bow and smiles to everyone greeting them.

 

After minutes of greeting, all went back to their respective placed and continued doing their thing. Yoona and Jonghyun sat back on their seat and continued their food while sweetly talking.

 

“That was great.” Jonghyun while serving Yoona her food.

“Start eating now. What time’s your filming?”

“In the afternoon.”

“Ahh. I can stay here and join you until you finish your schedule right?”
