“Where am I? My mouth feels dry and it was difficult to breath. I look around and saw that I am lying in a white room that was only lit by a fluorescent lamp. I shock when I feel a hand on my shoulder.

“You’re finally awake. Don’t you dare to scare me like that ever again” I look up and saw GD standing in front of me, looking worried. I tried to sit up but I felt pain in my back so I fell back into my bed.

“Take it easy. You have hurt yourself a lot.” He smiles  and gives me a cup of water.  I slowly take a sip. The water flows through my dry throat. It felt great.

“GD…”

“Jiyong, I told you to call me Jiyong,” I swallow.

“What happened to me? Why is my back hurting so much? And what am I doing in a hospital?” So many questions in my head and I have to know the answers of it.

“Hyunseung don’t rush. This isn’t the right time to tell you,”

“When is it? Come on Hyung I need to know,” Jiyong looks behind him but I couldn’t see at what.

“Alright then. I will tell you what I know,” Jiyong grabs a chair, signs and starts talking.

“It all starts when Taeyang and I found you. You didn’t came home that night so we were very worried about you. Taeyang and I went out to find you but when we found you, we were shocked. You were lying on the groun covered in blood. I ran to you as fast as I could. Taeyang called an ambulance while I tried to wake you up. You didn’t respond on anything and you were so cold. I thought you would die,” a single tear rolls down Jiyong’s cheek.  “Then is saw him. Blood on his hand. He looked scared and he was watching you with disbelief. When he saw me he ran away. The ambulance arrived very soon and they took you to the hospital. You lay in coma for almost two days. I was so afraid. Afraid that I maybe would lose my buddy,” I get emotionally by his words. I tried to sit so that I could hug him but as soon as I tried I get this awful pain again.

“Argh,” I yelled and Jiyong puts me quickly back into bed.

“Be careful,” I nod and put my cup of water on the nightstand. Jiyong suddenly clenches his fists. “It’s all his fault. Because of him you have this pain in your back. He did this to you,” He nods in the direction behind him and when I look along his shoulder I see him. The one that hurt me, the one that Jiyong blamed, the one who is standing in the doorway right now is none other than my best friend.

I’m sitting in Yang Hyun Seok’s office, shocked by the news I just heard. I look at him with disbelief. He can’t be serious.

“I don’t get it. What did I do wrong?”

“You didn’t do anything wrong Hyunseung but I just can’t  take the risk.”

“What risk?” I clenches my fists. He didn’t mean what I think he means, right? He can’t do that to me.

“Because of that incident you can’t stay in BigBang.  If someone ever find out what happened that night we are screwed. It will not only damage BigBang but also your life. You will not be able to live a normal life.  People will think horrible about you if they get to know. We wouldn’t let that happen. We will hide the documents with all the information strictly so that no one will ever know about this except we.” I let down my head. A tear rolls down my cheek. My dream is broken.

“Listen Hyunseung, it’s only for your own safety. You have hurt yourself very badly. We see that you’re not ready,”

“But it’s already 2 weeks ago that I’m discharged from the hospital. Everything is going well. I will work harder I promise. Please let me stay.” More tears are falling. They can’t take this from me, they can’t! I have worked too hard for this. I can’t just give up right know.

“Hyunseung please try to understand us. I know your are disappointed but your are hurt and we can see that. Your dance isn’t as good as before because of your injury. You will hold BigBang back. They can’t work with you in this state. You need to rest.” I swallow. I know they are right but I just can’t believe that it will end here.

“ I’m so sorry Hyunseung but we have to dismiss you from BigBang.” I stand up. I didn’t look at Yang Hyun Seok, I couldn’t. I ran away as fast as I could. Away from  Yang Hyun Seok, away from BigBang, away from my dream.

“Leave me alone. It is all your fault!” I shout and want to walk away but I was held back by a strong person.

“What are you talking about? What is my fault?” I pull myself free from his grip and look at him.

“You know what I’m talking about.”

“Seungie…”

“Don’t call me like that!” It is dark. We are standing in alley close to each other. He smiles at me but I don’t smile back. I can’t forgive him for what he has done.

“Are you mad because of your sister? I already told you that see broke up with me not the other way around,” I look confused at him. What is he talking about?

“Are you really that stupid? Because of you I’m kicked out of BigBang!”  His eyes snap open.

“What? You’re kidding right?” I shake my head. I had hoped it was all a joke but unfortunately it isn’t.

“ But why is that my fault? I didn’t dismiss you.” I roll with my eyes.

“YG can’t take the risk to let me stay in BigBang. They are afraid that people get to know what happened to me. They are afraid that I will hold BigBang back because I’m not like before. And that’s because you did this to me!” I yelled and show him my back. He turns his head away so that he doesn’t have to look at it. “You hurt me! Because of you I have to give up my dream. You ruined everything for me Bang Yongguk!”  The guy with black hair drops his head.

 “ I didn’t do it. I’m not the one who hurt you,” he mumbled.

“if it isn’t you who is it? Tell me!”

“I can’t tell you, ” he said softly.

“You’re pathetic Yongguk to blame someone else for your mistake!”

“ I swear I’m not the one.”

“Stop lying! I’m sick of it. What happened to you? We are supposed to be best friends but I don’t remember you anymore. You have change so much. You were always so caring and sweet but now. Now you only hurting people with that gang of yours,” Yongguk swallows and puts his hands in his pockets.

“I know that I speak the truth but I understand why you don’t believe me. I have not been a good friend and I know that. I promise that I will leave town so that you won’t be bothered by me. I hope we can be friends again someday but for now-“ Yongguk puts his hand on my shoulder and smiles weakly.

“Goodbye Hyunseung.”

“What are you doing here?” The boy with black hair chuckles.

“Is this your way to greet an old friend,” he said while he puts his hand on my shoulder. A shiver goes though my body so I quickly shake it away.

“Don’t touch me,” I growled angry.

“Wow take it easy man, it was just a hand,” I want to walk away but the boy stopped me.

“Hyunseung it’s been a while. Why don’t we chat for a couple of minutes,” I glare at him. Is he already forgot what happened?

“O, I see. You’re still mad,” I look away from him. In the distance I saw the couple walking away and holding hands.

“I don’t get you. It’s been 4 years from now. Everything is going fine by now. You even joins a new band so I don’t see a reason to still be mad at me.” His earring glistens in the moonlight and his smile is so big that I can see his bright white teeth. The boy who is standing in front of me is no other than my ex-best friend  Bang Yongguk who I know from my childhood.  We grew up together. His parents and mine were friends. They knew each other from work. One day my father invited Mr and Miss Bang to have dinner with us. I was at the age of 7 and very shy. When I met Yongguk I didn’t like him at all. He was much bigger than me and so though. I didn’t wanted to play with him but I had to from my parents. ‘You have to come out of that shell of yours Hyunseung. You don’t need to hide for others. You are a good boy and meeting new people is good for your self-coincidence’ my mother sad. So I did what they asked from me. Yongguk loved to play with my stuff, especially with my cars. He was laughing and had so much fun. But just when I thought he was okay he broke it. He broke my favorite car! I started yelling at him. My parents heard me and ran upstairs to my room. There they saw me hitting Yongguk. My father separated me from him. I cried so loud that I didn’t even heard Yongguk apologies. He looked shocked and didn’t dared to say something to me. My parents decided that is was better if they would have a dinner another time so the Bang family left. That night my father was very angry at me. I ruined their dinner what was important for my father because Mr Bang was his boss. I felt myself miserable and stupid for what I did but I was so angry at Yongguk. When my parents told me I had to go with them to the Bang family I yelled and cried because I didn’t want to. But it didn’t help. I had to go with them. During our visit I didn’t look at Yongguk once. He tried to talk with me but I just ignored him. My father became angry at me and  oblige me to play with him, if I didn’t I had a big problem. Because I didn’t want another fight with my father I did what he asked. A long time we didn’t said a thing to each other but Yongguk didn’t liked it. He started to talk about his favorite things like games, movies and food but I didn’t care. Yongguk saw this so he became angry. ‘I know you are angry at me because of that car but I said sorry! You can’t be angry at me forever you know,” I looked at him and chuckled. ‘I can and I will’ I walked out of the room but I hadn’t noticed that there was a dog in the house who stood right in front of me and growls. I shocked and was scared so I ran away screaming, without knowing where to. Yongguk heard me and sent the dog away but I didn’t notices so I was still running. Because I didn’t look good I trapped and almost fell 10 meters down. I walked toward and open door that supposed to leading to a balcony but that wasn’t finished yet. I felt a strong hand around my wrist who held me tightly and when I looked up I a saw Yongguk smiling. He pulled me up and because I was so happy I hugged him. My parents heard me screaming (for the second time so they probably thought it was something bad between me and Yongguk again) and saw me hugging Yongguk with teary eyes. Yongguk told them what was happened and were very thankful. At that moment I relished me that Yongguk wasn’t that bad at all and apologies myself to him for my stupid behavior. Since then we became best friends. We did everything together and  we even go to the same high school. But there everything changed. Yongguk became very popular, more than I because I was still very shy. He did things that weren’t allowed, got bad friends and started a gang with himself as the leader. I didn’t recognize him anymore as the old Bang Yongguk. He was still nice to me but to others he was so mean. I didn’t know why he became like this but I didn’t like it. He changed so much and because of his new image that accident happened which I will never forgive him.

“Hyunseung are you there?” Yongguk waves his hand in front of my face. I wake up from my thoughts and I immediately look at him with a straight expression.

“What are you doing here Yongguk. You promised me you would leave town,”

“I did but when I was away I started thinking and realized that I’m not the one who’s wrong but you. I was sick of the thought that I had to leave this place only because you hate me. So I decided to come back. And know I’m here, standing towards you, having a nice chitchat. How fun,” He said with sarcasm in his voice. I couldn’t stand the way he spoke to me. Like he knows everything better.

“I’m not the one who’s wrong, you are. You just don’t want to admit that you-“

“No Hyunseung,” I was cut of “You are the one who’s thinking wrong. I’m not the one who did it. You don’t want to see it. Why would I hurt you? You are my best friend!”

“I was your best friend,” I corrected him. Yongguk grabs desperate to his head. How can he  can solve this friendship if Hyunseung stays so stubborn.

“Listen Hyunseung-“

“No this time you will listen to me,” I interrupt him. I don’t need to know more bull.

“Have you any idea how hard I had to work for another change? How hard it is to join BEAST? I’m still not recovered. Every time I dance I feel that awful pain that won’t  go way. I still can’t dance without getting hurt and you know how important dancing is for me. You know how much I love it.” Yongguk drops his head, not knowing that Hyunseung has still problems with his back. “I can’t ask someone for help because I have to hide my pain for the others. This because they may not know what happened to me. Do you know how difficult that is for me!”

“I’m sorry,” he said.

“Sure. I have to go back. My friends are waiting for me,” I push him aside. I don’t want to talk with him any longer. I just know he’s lying to me.

“Wait please. I swear I didn’t do it. Believe me, I’m begging you!” ” I walk away. He can say what he want but that doesn’t change my thought about him. He’s the one, I’m sure of it.

“Hyunseung listen to me. I’m not the one who stabbed you!”
