Alternative Solution

"How can I be a beauty contest candidate! I am no beauty! And I never ever wanted to participate in one.” said Sulli frustrated

IU has lots of make up with her, she also brought a lot of fancy clothes.

“Just stay still. You know you don’t have a choice right? You need to participate. It’s the only way you can stay in Sun Life.” Said IU

IU tried to comb Sulli’s hair.

“There are products out there that’s called shampoo, you know.” Said IU

Sulli went still. “Are you saying I don’t use shampoo?”

“Well your hair…” IU tried very hard not to hurt Sulli, but the hair is just so tangled. “It feels like it has never been touched by shampoo for years.”

“I even try conditioner sometimes.” Said Sulli

“You need a treatment.” Said IU “conditioner will not be enough.”

IU had it enough with the hair. Next she tried to put on make-up, but first she needs to take the eyeglass off. IU did that and she noticed that Sulli’s face is really pretty.  Why would she hide it behind thick glasses? If only Sulli’s hair can be treated…And the eye glass…hmm…

“You looked blurred, but I can sense you’re about to insult me again.” Said Sulli

“No…I just feel we can do something about your glasses and your hair-“ said IU

“Insults” said Sulli

“No, I mean you’re really pretty Sulli…You just don’t know how to take care of yourself…” said IU “The problem is…since you really neglected yourself too long, it’s gonna be hard now…And we’re both not rich…What if we do some fund raising events?” asked IU

“Just for this challenge? Just to make me look a little pretty?” asked Sulli

“It’s not just for a challenge. It’s for your continuous stay in Sun Life!” said IU

“Hmm…I don’t want to trouble people and ask for money just to make me look pretty.”

Somebody knocked on the room Sulli and IU is using. A tall student entered.

“Hi Miss Sulli Choi? The adviser of the Events club needs to see you now. You need to fill out the forms for the contest.” Said the guy

Sulli went to a club office and saw Ms. Jung.

“Oh, Hi there Miss Sulli. Come in” said Miss Jung

So the y Miss Jugn is the Event’s club adviser?

“You looked surprised.” Said Miss Jung

“Ah yes…” answered Sulli

“Well…since you volunteered-“ another student went to Miss Jung for a report

“Excuse me Miss Jung. But Suzy Bae called in to say that she needs to get a leave of absence as president of our Events club because she’s a contestant for the beauty contest.” Said the student

“Hmm…that makes sense..but why does she need to participate!” Miss Jung said frustrated. “Who will lead the organizing committee now?”

“I can do that.” Answered Sulli “I want to be part of the event, I can help organize.”

“But you can’t, you’re a contestant.” Said Miss Jung

“Ummm…then just take me out of the list of contestants.” said Sulli

“That’s not going to be easy. Since Suzy entered the competition, this annual event which everyone is looking forward to will be a disaster. Since we opened registration, nobody has joined. We only have the 2 of you on the list. We can’t afford any of you to back out.” Said Miss Jung “Wait…if you can get 3 girls to join to replace you within a week…then I will allow you to be an organizer.”

“3 girls?!” asked Sulli

This is a chance right?

“Ok, I’ll look for 3 girls.”
