Seohyun chuckled, “Let me get this straight, you are in love with a girl and she with you, but you can’t be together for reasons and are virtually non-existent?”
“When you put it that way, you make feel inadequate,” he said.
She sighed and looked into his eyes, “It’s like that sometimes, but I don’t think safety is the issue here.”
He raised an eyebrow, “No? Then what is?”
“You,” she said, “Jinwoon, it’s you.”
“This is probably the time where I would insert a snarky retort, but I think you may be right.”
She smiled, “Of course I am right, I'm Girls Generation's Seo Joo-hyun, it’s what I do.”
He took the last sip of his bourbon, “Well Seohyunnie, you do what you do and you do it well.”
She softly snorted, “Not the first time I’ve heard that.”
He looked over at her to say something, but he saw an arm snake it’s way around her shoulders. A man leaned down and kissed her on the mouth with a gentleness that reminded him of cotton candy.
“Hey sweetie,” she said up at him, “I’ve been waiting for you. This is an old friend, Jinwoon.”
“Nice to meet you, man, I’m CNBlue's Jung Yonghwa,” he put out his free hand, “Are you ready to go?”
Seohyun stood up and put a hand on his shoulder, “This is not the end Jinwoon-ah, you have a chance to fix whatever is going on.”
He smiled at her and nodded.
She smiled to him, “And stop with the brooding forehead, it’s hard for girls to love sad boys.”
