It is a cold, breezy night outside the streets of Seoul. There happens to be a young lady wandering around like a stray dog. She tugs her luggage along with her as she heaves a heavy sigh. She looks around once more at her surroundings and her eyes just suddenly become misty.

“This is what you get for running away, Angela. It’s not so fun after all, is it?” scolds the girl’s inner voice.

Angela Go is approximately 1,627.76 miles away from her home. She’s been running with an empty stomach for almost 24 hours already. Her feet are sore from walking. She lost her wallet along the way, which is why she’s out on the streets at this time of the night. She has no place to stay in nor can she afford to feed herself. She is starting to feel dizzy. Though the weather is very cold, she is sweating profusely.

At this moment, Angela feels like she’s about to die any time soon. She is not used to this way of life. If only she was home, she wouldn’t be experiencing this kind of life. She would most likely be lying comfortably on her bed, tucked inside the blanket as her nanny attends to her rising fever.

I really miss home. Angela says at the back of her mind.  This time around, she couldn’t stop her tears from falling down her doe-shaped brown eyes as she continues strolling down the streets with what’s left of her strength.

Little did she know that things are going to change for her as she continues walking down the streets of Seoul.

Meanwhile…

Still in the city of Seoul, a group of friends consisting of four boys and two girls are riding inside a van as they head back to their home. As they swiftly pass by the calm streets of Seoul, wide smiles are plastered on their faces.

Ever since they entered the world of entertainment, things have changed for them. It wasn’t very easy for them to go out like they used to— as ordinary people.  

Despite of such an inevitable fact, the rest of the gang remain cheerful and are merrily laughing.

Well, that is the case except for the one who is driving.

Cho Kyuhyun seems to be bothered by something else.  Amidst the fact that everyone with him are in the state of euphoria, his face seems lifeless.  His eyes are fixed on the road as his mind flashes an image of the girl he truly loves.  They are the best of friends but Kyuhyun wants them to be more than that. She means everything to him. Just as when he was about to confess his feelings for her, he found out that she left Korea already…with her fiancée.  

Kyuhyun feels his heart break into tiny pieces. It has already been 3 months since the girl has left. He has been trying to move on and his friends are trying to help him as well. This is also one of the reasons why they had this night out but as they say, moving on is not that easy.

As he is drowing inside his own thoughts, little did he know that he is losing his focus on the road.

“Kyuhyun! Look out!” yells Kim Ryeowook, his friend who is seated beside him, as he pointed his finger at the person who is crossing the street.  

Kyuhyun is jerked out from his thoughts as Ryeowook’s voice pierces right through his ears.

The person crossing comes to a halt as soon as she sees the black SUV van, just a few meters away from her, swiftly approaching. She lets out a faint gasp, thinking that it is going to be the end of her. Luckily for her, the vehicle comes to a stop before it actually hit her.

But then, the girl is in a weak condition. The vehicle may not have hit her but she still collapses on the ground, which made the passengers think that she got hit by Kyuhyun.

“AAAAHHH! OPPA!” Two girls, namely Jessica and Yoona, shrieks in unison.

Ryeowook is clutching his chest as if to get a hold of his heart that is beating too fast.

The other two passengers, Siwon  and Donghae, who are seated at each of the opposite ends of the vehicle have their jaws slightly dropped out of shock.

Kyuhyun grips on the steering wheel tightly as he recovers from what just happened. He tries to remain calm on the outside but his heart beat is starting to race.

“God, what have I done?” Kyuhyun tells himself as he breathes heavily.  “What if I killed the person?” Guilt starts to creep upon him.

Without having any second thoughts and as soon as he regained his composure, Kyuhyun unlocks the door of the vehicle and steps out. 

Little does he know that what he is about to see will bring about the change he’s been waiting for so long.

And as for Angela, the young girl who is lying down unconsciously on the concrete floor, little does she know that this is just the beginning of the infinite possibilities that could happen to her in the city of Seoul.

After all, Seoul isn’t called as the city of infinite possibilities for nothing.
