It was a regular day. The rays of sun bathed Taemins’ face and although he was alone, smiling felt like second nature. Pressing the pad of his thumb against the ring on his iPod, changing the blaring music to a much more casual tune, he felt that today was different. It felt like it was going to be a great day, he just knew it. If only he hadn't blinked, if that one meaningless second hadn't slipped by, maybe he would be able to explain what the thick, sticky substance on his hands and head were. His head was heavy and his neck immobilized. Sudden sirens faded into the foreground as Taemin cringed at the noise. He could no longer move. No longer think. But it didn’t matter because those kind of things didn’t concern him anymore. All he wanted to know was why everyone was screaming and who the hand that held onto him so tightly belonged to.
