Kibum was the prince of Aqua-Pacifica, the most powerful kingdom in the whole water world. He was really handsome and had a really good heart; which causes almost all mermaids in the water world go crazy for him. Many mermaids loved Prince Kibum so much.

But although his fame was that big (that every merman wanted that position that would nearly kill themselves just to earn that kind of fame), he wasn’t happy. Her mother, Queen Hyoyeon was very kind and supportive in all he wants to do; but his father, King Eunhyuk was very strict. He never lets the Prince to stay away from the palace, if so, he’ll end up beaten by the King’s strong and powerful tail.

(A/N: mermaids/mermen’s tail can kill a person *in this fic* kekeke)

The King even locked the Prince inside a big jail-like room that was only for the kingdom’s rebels. He only gets out of that dirty place when his father lets him. The Prince’s mother couldn’t do a thing but to cry every time she saw Kibum get beaten by his cruel father.

But in his bad times, he always had two friends who always help him whatever, whenever, and wherever. His best friends were called Taemin and Seohyun. Taemin was a good sea witch that has powers to change identity and to communicate with other sea creatures around the whole water world. Seohyun was a pretty mermaid that always makes him laugh whenever the atmosphere was in a sad or angry mood. (A/N: really?Atmosphere beneath the waters?)

One day, he heard some nanny mermaids talking and chattering with each other that makes him curious. “Have you seen the other world they call Land?” the mermaid with a grey tail and green tips asked the other. “Yes, we’ve been there a tide ago. And that place was so beautiful. There are many creatures they call HUMAN. They were just like us but theyhave some kind of long hands that support them from standing and they don’t have tails.” She replied to the other. The Prince was secretly listening to their conversations and got curious about the OTHER WORLD.

He had never heard that kind of thing before. He was really confused, and wanted to see how beautiful the other world is as the nanny mermaid told the other.

“I really need to see that place they call LAND!” the Prince whispered in determination, hoping that he could take a peek of that beautiful place.
