Narrator’s P.O.V:
The scrumptious dinner was long over, and the six of you were upstairs in one of the large rooms. Your mom was resting from the hard effort she used in order to prepare the feast.
You suddenly spoke up, “I’m curious about something.” Gongchan looked at you with a ‘go ahead’ expression. “You all have to answer though, araso?” You smiled.
Hesitantly, they all nodded. You gave them a soft grin. “Recently, I’ve been noticing that Oppas are getting stranger… I was just curious to know about your past.” You said shyly.
The talk about their past caught B1A4 off guard a little. “Our… past?” CNU asked, his voice barely audible. You saw their blank expressions and became a little nervous. “Actually, you know what? Just forget I ever said anything.” You commented quickly, trying to think of another topic to think of.
“No, you’re right. I bet you’re curious too and it’d be good to let it off our chests.” Sandeul gave you a wry smile. “…We shouldn’t tell anyone else about this though. This is private stuff.” Jinyoung turned his head away without saying anything more. Baro nodded slowly.
You softened, “Of course.” It made you happy that they trusted you so much since they would tell you about their hurtful pasts. No one said anything until Gongchan spoke up. “Maknae first.” He sighed and began. You listened intently.
Gongchan’s older brother was a role model to Gongchan ever since he was a child. He was social, had good looks, was smart, and he was a kingka. Naturally, Gongchan looked up to him and relied greatly on him. Gongchan adored him, and he thought that his hyung adored him too… until his brother’s true colours broke through.
“One day, dad and mom weren’t home, and my brother tried to deliberately push me off of the stairs. Since I was so young, his plan worked and tumbled down. He told me that he hated me as I was crying… He told me to get away from the house and never come back because he never wanted to see m-my worthless self ever again—“ Gongchan fake laughed on the last word as you and the other boys stared at him in shock.
He started laughing and put his head down, but when he raised his head up, his laughs immediately morphed into cries. His tears hit the wooden floors quickly. Drip, drip, drip. It was the most heartbreaking scene you
