Into Your World (Angel) - EXO-K http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bewParlnTQ     ----------------------- Narrator’s P.O.V:     “What?!” Hana let out a loud, high-pitched snicker, making poor Zelo spill the juice he was pouring, “You think Jongin’s cheating on you?!”   “Aw, noona!” Zelo grumbled, staring at the mess of juice on the table. Daehyun helpfully handed him a wad of napkins.   “Thanks, hyung.” Zelo mumbled, making a dissatisfied face at Hana and proceeding to clean up.   “Oops, sorry.” Hana mouthed with a half-hearted, apologetic look. Daehyun shook his head with an amused grin and picked up another handful of chips from the bowl. They were currently having a small snack before lunch.   “To be honest, yes.” Dahee’s voice sounded more irked than amused or upset.   Hana laughed—her loud snort drained down to a quieter chortle—and shook her head, “You know that’s impossible. Sure, it’s in Jongin’s nature to be flirty once in a while, but he’s not a two-timer, right Junhong?” She turned around to Zelo, who nodded almost instantly.   “Hana’s right. Jongin’s crazy about you. That’s absurd.” A calm, more masculine voice resonated on the other line. Lay was on a three-way call with the girls.   “Don’t worry, I’m well aware of that. but him cheating on me is the only thing I can think of.” Dahee sighed inaudibly, “If he was, I’d show him a piece of my mind. The only problem is that he’s being really distant.”   “How so?” Hana sat back in her chair and munched on another chip.   “Well, for starters, we haven’t been spending time together like we used to.” Hana heard muffled shuffling and assumed that she was lying down on her couch, “He’s either out with his other friends, people from his dance class, or all in all, acting suspicious. You know him. It’s easy to tell when he’s lying.”   Lay chuckled in the background and Hana smirked.   “I’m sure he’s not cheating on you, Dahee. There’s probably a good reason why he’s been avoiding you.” Hana side-glanced at Daehyun, who clucked his tongue silently and shoved a chip in . Hana glared at him playfully and he chuckled.   Lay paused a bit, “Why don’t you confront him today at the dance concert?”   “That’s what I was planning to do,” Dahee said ponderingly, “But tell me why you guys aren’t going again?”   “I have a date with Daehyun,” Hana automatically responded. Daehyun stared at her, “We do—mmpf!” Hana smacked a hand over his mouth quickly.   “I’m sick, so I’m out of the competition.” Lay coughed dramatically.   Hana could almost see Dahee’s raised eyebrow, but thankfully, she never questioned it. “O…kay, then. I’ll be sure to take lots of videos of his performance and send it to you guys.”   “Oh, I’m sure you will,” Hana murmured under her breath with a wide grin. Zelo shook his head while Daehyun rolled his eyes, mouth still covered.   “Huh?” Dahee said in confusion. Hana’s eyes widened, “Ah—nothing!”   “Smooth, noona.” Junhong whispered. Hana made a face at him. *You be quiet!*   Thankfully, Dahee looked at the time, “Ah, man. It’s almost time for his concert. I’ve gotta go get ready. I’ll text you all the details later!”   “Have fun!” Hana mused until Dahee hung up. Daehyun pried off her hand, “Can I breathe now?”   “Sorry, Daehyunnie, but you were gonna spill the beans!” Hana squealed.   “No,” Lay chuckled on the other line, “You were gonna spill the beans, Hana.”   Daehyun heard that and smirked, “If you weren’t on the phone, I would’ve high-fived you, Lay.” Hana frowned, “Lay! I thought you were on my side!”   “I am, Hana, just not this time.” Lay joked.   Hana rolled her eyes, “Anyways,” she continued, “Dahee’s in for a big surprise tonight. I can’t wait to see her expression!”   “You and me both. I can’t believe that he’s going to do something so cheesy.” He sheepishly replied.   Hana eyed Daehyun, “Cheesy, but charming. Actually, someone should be learning from my cousin.” Daehyun flushed and quickly looked away, whistling a tune.   From the other line, Lay chortled. When his laughter died down, he glanced at the time, “Alright, I’ve gotta go. Your cousin is calling. Want me to put him on?”   “Nah, it’s okay. Just tell him to break a leg. We’ll be there tonight.” Hana assured.   “Got it. See you there.”   Click.   -------------------------------   Dahee, dressed prettily for her boyfriend’s first major dance recital, descended the staircase backstage.   After passing the other dancers and many waiting rooms, she finally stopped in front of one.   Dancers: Lee Taemin, Oh Sehun, Kim Jongin   in a deep breath, Dahee knocked on the door. A couple of seconds passed when the door cracked open and Sehun, one of Jongin’s friends from dance, poked his head out. When his eyes locked onto Dahee’s, his lips formed into an ‘o’.     “Dahee noona!” Sehun exclaimed.   “Hey, Sehun-ah.” She grinned a bit.   “Dahee? Yoon Dahee?” A voice from afar grew closer as Jongin’s closest friend at dance, Taemin, appeared. Kai and Taemin looked so similar that it still took her by surprise. When he peered through the small crack above Sehun, Taemin grinned widely and waved, “Dahee!”     “Yo, Taeminnie.” Dahee chuckled, “Is Jongin in there?”   Taemin blinked, “Yeah, Kai’s here. He’s—“   “Did someone call me?” Kai materialized out of nowhere and caught sight of his girlfriend. His eyes widened and for some reason, his cheeks reddened, “D-Dahee!”   Dahee raised an eyebrow. She had never seen him squirm before. “Hey.”   Kai pushed the others out of the way and hurriedly squeezed himself outside, “W-What are you doing here?!”   The dark-haired girl furrowed her eyebrows, “Muh? Did you just ask me why I’m here?”   Kai’s eyes widened as he frantically glanced behind him, “N-No, I mean—“   Dahee sharply caught that and narrowed her eyes, “What’s going on?”   Immediately, Kai pulled the door to a close, despite the boys’ protests. It was silent as the two stood in the hallways. As expected, Jongin looked handsome in his stage outfit, a sleeveless studded leather jacket with a loose tank top and black jeans. But no matter how hot he looked, Dahee was still stubborn and didn’t budge an inch.   “Kim Jongin,” Dahee firmly stared at him, “What’s gotten into you?”   Finally, Kai stared into her eyes, and the regular, laid-back Jongin had returned. He stepped forward, putting a hand on her shoulder, the other hand her cheek gently. Dahee was stunned and immediately froze, as if she had been electrocuted. There was something in his eyes that seemed apologetic, the other in complete bliss, and a small part of him seemed anxious.   “Dahee…” His soothing voice became dangerously gentle, “Just believe in me, okay? Please… just be patient for a little while. I promise you’ll understand before the night is over.”   A bit charmed but as confused as ever, Dahee warily found herself nodding. The corners of Kai’s lips slowly hitched up into a smile, and he let go of her, “Wish me luck, baby.”   “Luck,” she called out, and she meant it. At the last moment, he turned around and pressed a kiss to her forehead. Dahee, once again caught by surprise, blinked at him.   “Look,” Kai started off, “No matter what, I want you to know that I love you, okay?” He sheepishly scratched the side of his head. “And your opinion matters the most to me, so don’t feel pressured about anything.”   “O…kay?” Dahee answered, eyebrows furrowed.   Kai softened and broke out into a small chuckle, “Don’t worry. Just watch over me from the crowd.”   “I will, Jongin. You don’t ever have to worry about that.” She warmly smiled. Kai grinned, gaining confidence. He swiftly pecked her cheek and hurried back into his change room, leaving a completely confused Dahee.   When Kai closed the door, he slowly moved down until he sat on the floor. *Shoot.*   “What happened?” Taemin inquired.   Sehun popped up in front of his face, “Yeah, what did she say? Did she get suspicious?”   Kai glared at the both of them, “Yeah, because you two were so inviting to her that she almost came in and saw him!” He pointed to Lay, who was secretly part of the concert as well. He was merely hiding in their change room.   Kai sighed and put his head in his hands, “I can’t believe that she thinks I’m two-t

Chapter 8: This is sweet. I can't stopped smiling since there's too much cheese on top of the cake. Too sweet, but i felt pity for Lay though.

Chapter 8: LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! These stories are awesome! Although I'm really sad about Lay's girlfriend, I think it's realistic since Lay practically never see or talk about any girl before. I love how you write about each of the characters side stories. You really nailed it! Their characters are written beautifully. I can imagine what will happen to the future of Haelo, the life of Hayoung and Yongguk, and I also like how you write about Rina and Wonho's first meeting, it's cute! The way you jokingly make Chinhoo and Saemi meet is also awesome! Absolutely love this!
