No one's POV: 

"Where are we going?" asked Jongin 
"To find somewhere cheap to eat" Kyungsoo replied and Jongin cheered up slightly upon hearing food was involved and accidently bumped into Kyungsoo who stood in the centre of the city square and frowned
"Stay here" he said and began to walk away 
"Where are you going?" Jongin asked
"Just stay there I'll be back in a minute" was Kyungsoo's reply and he walked away leaving Jongin there to pout 
"Fine" he muttered and looked around to see if there anywhere to sit... unsurprising to him that the place was packed and every space available to sit was taken up as he sighed and stayed where Kyungsoo told him to. 

"Jongin?" asked a voice behind him and when he turned around his eyes widened whilst the person smirked
"Well, well never thought I'd see you again" they said 
"Wh-what are you doing here?" Jongin asked and took a step back
"Oh don't worry I'm not stalking you or anything, I'm here to shop like everyone else" 
"With him?" Jonging asked through gritted teeth
"You father? Oh yeah he's here to" they replied and Jongin glared at them 
"He's no father of mine" he said and the person approached him, his cheeks 
"My how I do miss this skin" they muttered as Jongin pushed them away. 

"Get away from me" he shouted
"Is that any way to speak to your stepmother?" she asked and Jongin shook his head
"You are no family of mine" he replied 

*flashback* 

"What you doing?" asked JooGi as she sat next to her step son who looked up at her for a second before looking away
"Homework" he replied and tried to move away but she gently took his hand and pulled him back 
"What homework?" she asked
"Physics" replied Jongin and shrugged it of before getting back to it whilst JooGi stared at him and slowly his cheek
"Wh-what are you doing?" asked Jongin as he pushed her hand away and she shrugged
"I'm bored" she replied and Jongin frowned
"Go do something then" he replied. 

"You come with me" she said and Jongin shook his head 
"Why not?" she asked
"I have homework to do" he replied
"Ignore the homework" she said and took it away from him 
"What are you do-" he began but she placed a finger on his lips and shushed him 
"Just trust me" she whispered and Jongin frowned before his eyes widened at what she did next.... 

*end of flashback*

"Hey Jongin there's this reallty... oh am I interrupting something?" asked Kyungsoo as he walked back over
"No it's fine I'm leaving now" JooGi replied and turned to Jongin 
"It was nice seeing you again" she said and walked away. As Kyungsoo watched her walk away he frowned before turning to Jongin who had gone quiet... to quiet and very pale 
"Are you alright?" Kyungsoo asked him 
"Y-yeah I'm fine" Jongin replied quietly
"Are you sure we-"
"I said I'm fine.... we just need to get out of here" Jongin said and began panicing as Kyungsoo nodded
"O-ok follow me" he said and Jongin nodded, saying nothing else...
