You know those rumors on our favorite idols? The ones that just seem too outrageous to be true?
Yes, we have all experienced them. Idols leaving, idols dating and scandals that just can't be spoken about.
Have you ever wondered where they come from?
Common sense says that it's just some troll on the other side of the computer screen that wants to ruin a career.
Others claim that it's the work of lousy reporters that get paid for coming up with these lies.
Well, I've got news for you.
Park KyungMi is a twenty year old journalist who works for Idol Extra! magazine. The one magazine that can make an idol get chills just by the name.
The one thing about KyungMi is, she doesn't want to report lies or false information. All she wants is to inform
people on their idol's schedules and activities planned.
Only, she's not very good at it.
In fact, she herself has had run-ins with false information and has become rather bashed upon as a result.
Her editor had given her one last chance.
Or she's done.
Foreword
I watched as my editor walked around the room, handing out everybody's new topic for our next issue. I felt my hands start to get sweaty.
My last article didn't go so well. I remember my computer shutting down due to the large amount of hate mail I received from all of the costumers that read Idol Extra! magazine. I don't know what's wrong with me. I can never seem to get the right information, no matter how long or hard I work for it.
He stopped in front of my desk and gave me a small smile that I could tell was full of pity. He handed me my paper and walked off.
Without thought I quickly unfolded the paper and read my topic.
Dear KyungMi,
I hate to tell you this, but because of your little incident in our last issue I have been given no chance but to give you your last warning. If you screw this issue up, I may have to let you go.
I gulped hard and continued reading.
For our next publication, I want you on the rumor about Kim Myungsoo(L) from the boy band Infinite. A strong and heavily backed up rumor of him having a girlfriend and leaving the group has been floating around. I want you on top of it.
Remember what I said.
