Set in the kingdom of Joseon in the year 1516, this story tells the lives of fourteen princes and princesses, daughters and sons of King Jonghwan and Queen Ilsoon.

Rebellious Minhyuk and tomboyish Yookyung want a life full of adventure, and generally feels bored being a prince. Bomi, Yookyung and Chorong are skilled in martial arts, but Eunkwang just thinks that the life they are living right now is good enough for them. But a new adventure starts for the warrior-turned princes and princesses once an exciting quest awaits them all.

Aside from duties as princes and princesses to protect their kingdom, they each possess a special personal quality, and are not just your typical fairy-tale princes and princesses just looking for romance. Even with different qualities and talents, the fourteen princes and princesses do work together as a team to protect their kingdom and do their royal duties for their people.

Prince Eunkwang of Leadership. Sweet, loving and caring for his thirteen younger brothers and sisters.

Princess Chorong of Purity. Ironic to her superior looks, sweetness and her charm, she is very athletic and talented in martial arts, particularly Hapkido.

Prince Changsub of Truth. Smart but a bit uptight and too "perfect". He is however skilled in poetry and calligraphy.

Princess Yookyung of Bravery. Loves adventures. A fearless and feisty tomboy. She loves the art of fighting and martial arts, as well as archery.

Prince Minhyuk of Justice. Fun loving, rebellious and bored of palace life. Wants a life full of adventure.

Princess Eunji of Talent. Talented in painting, singing and dancing. She is skilled in pansori and has a magic siren like singing voice as a source of a defence as well as healing.

Prince Hyunsik of Sincereity. Perhaps known for his strength and his skills in archery and wrestling.

Princess Bomi of Reliability. She is very athletic and talented in dancing as well as Taekwondo.

Prince Donggeun of Intelligence (He is referred as Donggeun instead of Peniel as this is set in Ancient Korea). He is very smart and is skilled in the art of hunmin jeongeum (now known as hangeul) and hanja. He also has the ability to translate secret codes in any language.

Princess Naeun of Beauty. The princess with the looks and charm.

Prince Ilhoon of Honor. Like other boys he loves to do boy things. He is very rowdy and wild, but nonetheless respectful of the social norms around him and cares about his brothers and sisters.

Princess Namjoo of Duty. Hard working, confident and determined.

Prince Sungjae of Honesty. The prince with the looks and charm. Good at sword fighting and horse riding.

Princess Hayoung of Gentleness. Unlike the stereotypical rowdy wild maknae she is very gentle and mature, and not only because her beauty shapes her character. She is selfless and cares about her older brothers and sisters. Not only is she beautiful, but she also is talented in archery.
