You and Myungsoo stood at your front door awkwardly. The date you had that night was filled with intimacy. You really felt closer to Myungsoo afterward and couldn’t wait to spend more time with him. Myungsoo looked nervous as he carefully grabbed your hand and turned towards you. His eyes stared into your soul and slowly down to your lips. He placed his hand on your cheek and moved your lips closer to his. Then he hesitantly kissed you; it made you feel like melting into a puddle below him. It was the perfect kiss to end the perfect night. Myungsoo smiled and took one step down the stairs.

“Good night,” he said.

He turned to leave and slipped down the stairs. You stood at the top unsure of what to say or do.  Myungsoo didn’t move for a while and did not face you.

 “Are you o—”

“I’m fine,” he shouted and ran down the street.

Myungsoo didn’t call you for a week out of sheer embarrassment of what happened that night.
