"Minzy...", Bom asked calmly once they were in the car towards the headquarters, "Are you involved with the business side of the gang?"

 

Dara and CL quickly glanced at Bom berfore turning away casually.

 

 

"No, I leave all that to oppas", Minzy shook her head, "I don't really like to get involved."

 

"Oh I see", Bom nodded slowly, "Do you not like being part of the gang then?"

 

"No no it's not that", Minzy shook her head again, "The only thing I have in this world is the YG gang, without them I would have nothing."

 

 

"Then why don't you like being involved?", Dara asked.

 

 

Minzy looked at them awkwardly, "Well...let's just say...the gang do or have to do things that I'm against."

 

 

"You mean...like the initiation?", CL asked quietly.

 

 

Minzy nodded, "And other things, the initation is just to figure out you're personality, whether you're a loyal person to begin with or not."

 

"They're really into this whole loyal business aren't they?", Bom asked.

 

Minzy sighed, "More than you know unnie, oppas...have been betrayed a lot in their past...YG is their family, so when someone from your own family betrays you the oppas can't handle it."

 

"What do you mean?", Dara asked slowly.

 

"If you're a YG member and you betray us....oppas....", Minzy suddenly went silent.

 

"Kill them?", Bom asked.

 

Minzy nodded, "No exception...sometimes I wonder if they would kill me if I betrayed them?"

 

"Minzy, you're their donseng though", CL said, "I mean your grandpa was the head of YG before he passed away right?"

 

Minzy shook her head, "They love me to death, but betrayal is something they can't get over."

 

 

"What...exactly happened to them in the past to make them so...brutal?", Bom asked.

 

 

"Pretty much everyone in YG are here because they've been through so much in their lifetime that they've given up hope on everything else but YG", Minzy explained, "Same goes to the oppas...they've either been abandoned, mistreated, suffered or endured horrendous situations...."

 

The girls nodded quietly, each thinking about their own lives.

 

 

"Although I don't know the full story, Daesung, Seungri and Taeyang oppas' parents passed away when they were still children and they basically had to fend for themselves living on the streets until they entered the gang", Minzy told them.

 

"They lived on the streets as kids? Surely there are government funds to help kids like them?", Dara asked.

 

Minzy shook her head, "They never recieved money from the government, I don't think the government had any intention of giving them in first place."

 

"So they think that the government is corrupt I'm guessing", CL asked.

 

"There's nothing to think about unnie, the government is corrupt", Minzy said seriously, "You'll soon find out."

 

 

"I guess...we're not as different as I thought", Bom mumbled making CL and Dara look at her.

 

 

"One thing the oppas hate more than anything is the police", Minzy continued.

 

 

The girls froze up as they felt a chill down their spines.

 

 

Minzy shook her head, "Even me...most of us have had to suffer so much injustice because of the police."

 

 

"Has...there ever been...", CL asked slowly, "someone from YG who was in the police force?"

 

Minzy looked straight at her with a serious expression, "Unnie, if there was someone like that then...the death he would go through I wouldn't even wish upon my enemy."

 

The girls gulped nervously.

 

"TOP oppa in particular despises the police", Minzy explained, "While growing up he actually wanted to be a police officer."

 

 

The girls eyed Bom subtly, knowing that TOP had once been in police academy.

 

 

"His dad was always getting into trouble, using drugs, selling them, stealing and all that, that's why from a young age TOP oppa wanted to join the police because he didn't want to grow up like his father."

 

"What happened then to make him want to join YG?", Bom asked.

 

Minzy leaned her head back on the seat and sighed, "He'd just started police academy when he got called in by the police...his dad had been arrested for drug possesion but he'd put the blame on TOP oppa."

 

The girls furrowed their brows in shock.

 

"TOP oppa...actually all my oppas were initially really good people...situations and circumstances changed them to what they are now", Minzy sighed.

 

"So...TOP...", Bom mumbled.

 

"Oppa went to jail for 3 years for his dad", Minzy said.

 

"oh my god", the girls gasped, "Why didn't he say anything to the police?"

 

"Do you think they believed him?", Minzy said bitterely, "The person that went to jail and the person that left jail 3 years later wasn't the same person, he gave up all hope in life, in the police in justice...that's when my grandad found him and took him in. After that oppa has never looked back, his life is YG now."

 

Bom leaned back on the seat and sighed heavily. She couldn't help but feel this heavy feeling in her heart for him.

 

 

"Then there's GD oppa...", Minzy continued as she stared in front of her.

 

 

Dara and the girls waited for Minzy to say something, and for some reason Dara felt this anxious squeeze in her heart afraid of what she was about to hear next.

 

 

"The other oppas' parents passed away, they didn't purposely leave them did they?", Minzy asked the girls, "But GD oppa...his parents abandoned him when he was only a few weeks old."

 

Dara covered with her hand in shock, "They left him?"

 

Minzy nodded, "I still remember what my grandpa said, he said he was walking down the road to the river when he saw a baby lying on the grass, no blanket, no warm covers, no basket, no note nothing, just a little baby laid on the cold snow. He thought the baby was dead because the GD oppa wasn't crying or anything..."

 

Dara felt her eyes moisten for some reason. Why was she upset? This was YG they were talking about, the hard, brutal YG.

 

"You know even my grandpa never heard GD oppa cry when he was a baby", Minzy said to the girls.

 

"Never?", CL asked.

 

Minzy shook her head, "Not even me and I grew up with him....do you think...someone can be so sad that they can't even cry?"

 

The girls didn't know what to say, they never expected the boys to have this sort of past.

 

"That's why unnies,  I know that sometimes the oppas can be quite scary and do things that we won't approve of, but they're really actually good people deep down...you just need try to see that side of them", Minzy smiled at them as they reached the headquarters.

"Sajangnim we tracked the E7 in Japan and China", Young don said to GD and the other boys.

 

"Who had them?", GD asked as he played with his ring on his finger.

 

"A well known gang in China was using it", he explained, "We managed to some of it back, but they're already sold on the rest."

 

"Where to?", TOP walked up to the desk.

 

Young don looked at the two nervously, "Europe."

 

GD stopped playing with his ring as his eyes turned into slits, "Find the rest of it."

 

"But sajangnim, it's highly likely the italian mafia have it-"
 

 

GD turned to glare at him, "Find the rest and bring it back."

 

 

Young don nodded and left the room.

 

 

 

 

"What the is going on!", Seungri muttered as he slammed his fist on the wall, "If Europe gets hold of it-"

 

"Have you found the traitor yet?", TOP interrupted.

 

"No no yet", Seungri sighed.

 

"Find him", GD ordered before getting up and storming out of the room.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"And then if they come from behind you just do this!", Dara faced the girls and walked backwards as she showed Minzy some self defense moves. She pushed her elbow back sharply hitting something behind her.

 

 

The girls gasped and looked at the person behind Dara and then back at Dara who stood frozen in shock too. She slowly turned her head around and when she saw GD glaring at her, she spun her head back to the front again and scrunched her face up in panic.

 

 

 

"unnie is so screwed", Minzy nervously whispered to Bom and CL.

 

 

 

Dara closed her eyes and clasped her hands together in praying position and wished she would just disappear into thin air.

 

 

 

"What is it with this girl always hitting me?", GD gruffily mumbled as he walked past Dara and the girls.

 

 

 

Dara slowly opened one of her eyes and peeked at him as he walked past.

 

 

 

"Omo!", Minzy ran up to Dara, "Unnie are you and my oppa dating?!"

 

 

"WHAT?!!", Dara and the girls shouted.

 

 

"Ani....", Minzy turned back to look at her oppa, "I mean...why else would he have left without doing anything."

 

 

"Why...what...does he normally do?", Dara asked nervously.

 

"Fire you on the spot", Minzy stated, "Also considering this is the second time you've hit him as well unnie."

 

"Third!", Bom corrected.

 

"THIRD?!", Minzy gasped in shock, "Unnie...you're walking on thin ice....be careful."

 

 

 

 

 

 

"YAH! What time do you call this?!", Taeyang shouted at Minzy from the door way of the office.

 

Minzy rolled her eyes and stormed towards him handing him a plastic container, "I was cooking for you actually!"

 

"Ah", Taeyang looked at the container and smiled, "Mianhe dongsaeng."

 

"Aish!", Minzy grimaced before walking into the office with the girls.

 

 

"Oh...", Taeyang cleared his throat and awkwardly nodded at the girls as they walked past him.

 

 

 

 

"Why are girls always so bloody late?!", TOP sighed and ruffled Minzy's head.

 

Minzy glared at her oppa, "Why did you call for me?!"

 

 

TOP sighed and handed her a file, "What's this?"

 

Minzy looked down at the file and the up at him, "What is it?"

 

TOP opened up the file and placed it back in front of Minzy. Minzy looked up at TOP as if she was in trouble.

 

"What are you doing looking for them again?", TOP asked quietly.

 

Minzy looked nervously at the girls and then back at the boys.

 

"I told you to give up didn't I?", TOP asked again, "If Jiyong found out..."

 

Minzy looked at her hands nervously, while the girls tried to figure out what was going on.

 

"Mianhe oppa...I just-"

 

"I know what you're trying to do, but I've told you before and I'll tell you again, I want nothing to do with that man you think is my father and I'm pretty sure GD doesn't want to see the people that abandoned him-"
 

"But oppa-"
 

 

"But nothing Minzy! I'm telling you nicely this time so stop it!", TOP said angrily.

 

"Then are you planning to live your whole life like this?!", Minzy asked angrily.

 

"I'm living my life just fine!", TOP growled.

 

Minzy scoffed, "What? Living like dead corpses?!!"

 

 

"Minzy!", Daesung stepped forward, "That's enough."

 

 

"No!", Minzy stepped back towards the girls, "What's so bad about me wanting to help you?! Oppa maybe there was a reason why he had to do that to you, if"

 

"YOU HONESTLY THINK THERE WAS A JUSTIFIABLE REASON FOR LEAVING ME TO ROT IN PRISON FOR 3 YEARS FOR A CRIME I ING DIDN'T COMMITT?!", TOP shouted.

 

 

The girls stepped back slightly in shock, Bom placed her hand on Minzy's shoulder protectively.

 

 

"There was no reason Minzy-ah...I know you think that reuniting me with him might change me...", TOP sighed, "I know you're scared of what we're becoming, but no one can change us so quit it."

 

 

"FIne...fine", Minzy nodded her head angrily, "There are people out there looking for me, wanting me dead...so when I'm gone-"

 

 

"Minzy!", Seungri growled as he pulled her arm, "Don't say stuff like that!"

 

 

"But it's true oppa!", Minzy cried out, "I'm the only one you 5 love...if I'm gone I'm...I'm scared what's going to happen to you..."

 

 

Minzy wiped her tears and turned around towards the door when she was GD standing there. She looked at him for a moment before running out of the room. The boys sighed in fustration and ran after her followed by Bom and CL.

 

 

Dara was about to run out to when she hit the table in the middle of the room and the vase fell onto the floor and broke.

 

 

"sh!t!", Dara cursed as she fell to her knees trying to pick up the pieces, "ouch!", she flapped her hand when she cut it with a piece.

 

Suddenly a dark figure kneeled in front of her and started picking up the broken pieces. Dara looked up and saw Jiyong picking the pieces. For some reason she couldn't help but look at him.

 

 

'Do you think someone can be so sad they can't even cry?'

 

 

His eyes did look sad, they were vacant and felt empty but there was definitely a permanent sadness to them.

 

 

 

"200 million won", GD finally spoke still picking up the pieces.

 

"Neh?", Dara asked confused.

 

GD looked at her, "This cost 200 million won."

 

 

Dara gasped slowly realising just how screwed she was, "2...hundred.... million..... won?"

 

 

GD nodded and stood up placing the pieces on the table.

 

 

"Ji..JIyong shi I'm sorry!!", Dara covered as she stood up, "I'll pay you back for it JIyong shi...it might take about 10 years but I'll pay it back Jiyong shi...oh sh!t..."

 

 

GD looked at her intently, 'Jiyong again?...Why does she call me that?'

 

 

"You know what? Take it directly from my salary as Minzy's bodyguard!", Dara continued, "Ottoke, Jiyong shi please don't fire me...I know I've already hit you 3 times and cursed at you and cursed you even more behind your back Jiyong shi-"

 

GD raised a brow and stared at her mumbling along. This wasn't the girl who was so confident when fighting, who looked so cool when she tried to shoot herself instead of her friends...this girl who was nervously mumbling along wasn't anything like the Dara he thought she was...but surprisingly he couldn't stop staring at her.

 

 

"Jiyong shi, I just calculated it in my head and if I work for you for the next 10 years and 3 months and 6 days exactly without any pay then i should be able to clear this debt neh?", Dara asked.

 

 

"You're calling me Jiyong shi again", GD finally said.

 

Dara suddenly shook her head, "I mean JIyong sajangnim!!"

 

GD blinked slightly.

 

"sh!t!! I mean GD sajangnim!", she bowed apologetically and ran out of the room before he could fire her.
