What Hurts The Most
Stuck With Miss DespicableA/N: Still (somehow) in Tiffany's POV
One week passed after their conversation but she and SooYoung had just seen each other twice within that week. Graduation day will be held after this week and since the seniors were just practicing for the rites last week, SooYoung was just required to attend once and she was excused for the remaining rehearsals because of her schedule.
They have seen each other on that one practice day and when SooYoung visited her in their house. Her girlfriend always tried to make time for her and calls her whenever the girl gets the chance but she herself was the one being distant when it happens.
Sometimes, she wouldn't answer the girl's calls and tried to pretend she's asleep or out of the house when SooYoung visits her. Whenever the girl asks her out during her free time, she would reason out that she's busy with something else.
Yesterday, she finally agreed to meet up with SooYoung on their favorite park but once she arrived at the place and was about to approach the girl, Ms. Kendrick's words then kept ringing in her ears and so she stepped back and stow away where SooYoung wouldn't see her.
She's a ing coward.
She's just there for three hours, watching as SooYoung waited for her on that bench and sometimes would try to call her but she wasn't picking up.
The girl was always impatient, but never when it comes to her. And that made her cry.
She was still sobbing when she decided to call the girl. She can see that SooYoung happily answered the call. But then her heart sank more when she saw the pained look on the girl's face when she said that she couldn't come because her Dad took her to visit some family friend's house.
She's sure SooYoung wouldn't have left the place if she hadn't called. Cursing herself, she agonizingly watched her girlfriend's retreating figure.
It's Monday now and she just got home from school when her brother Junho approached her. Yeah, she does have a brother.
"Can I talk to you, Sis?"
She nodded, "About what, Oppa?"
Junho signalled her to sit on the couch and she did but suddenly became uncomfortable with the look he's giving her.
"What are you doing, Tiffany?" her brother asked in a serious voice.
"W-What do you mean?" she asked back in confusion.
He sighed, "I've noticed what you're doing with SooYoung lately. What the heck is wrong with you?"
"I don't know what you're saying, Oppa."
"Yes, you do. Last Friday, SooYoung dropped by even if she looked very tired but you ordered the maid to tell her that you're already asleep. One time, she called here saying you're not answering her calls for days. What is that, huh?"
"I was just.. I-I just need some space, that's all."
Her brother frowned. "What for? Did you two fight?"
"N-No." she lowered her head and breathed a lungful of air, "I-I don't know what's happening to me either. It's just that, I'm.. I-I'm afraid."
Junho was a bit taken aback by her remark but managed to ask, "Afraid of what, Tiff? Is there something bothering you?"
"I'm afraid of everything. I-I'm afraid I might lose her anytime soon." she croaked, her tears started to form in her eyes.
Junho patted her back worriedly as she cried her heart out.
"You will lose her with what you're doing. You're avoiding her with no apparent reason."
"But there is, Oppa. T-There's a reason."
"What reason then?"
She reluctantly told her brother what happened last week when a certain Lucy Kendrick talked to her and what matters she talked about. She also told him what SooYoung said in their conversation and how she felt about it.
After telling the story, Junho lightly knocked her head with his knuckle in which she pouted.
"You babo. Tch, I can't believe my sister is that coward. Don't you think it's unfair for the both of you if you'll just decide to leave SooYoung like that? And just because of such nonsense reasons?"
"I-It isn't nonsense! You didn't see the determination in her eyes that's why you're saying that." she huffed.
"Sis, I think you're underestimating SooYoung's love for you. Which do you think is more important to her, that career or you? If you'd make her choose between the two, I'm a hundred and one percent sure she'll choose you."
The remark knocked some sense on her and so she hastily wiped her tears.
"Y-You think so? But she's already into it, Oppa."
"But.. she's into you more, don't you think?"
Her lips then slowly curled into a small smile as she stared at brother. She then sighed regretfully.
"I can't believe I let myself be fazed by that thing. But you're right, Oppa. At the end of the day, it will always be me for SooYoung." she then hugged her brother tightly, "Ahhh~ you're the best, Junho Oppa."
The older one chuckled and patted her back. She broke the hug and mouthed a simple 'thanks' to her brother then ran to her room. She quickly changed her clothes and sprinted back to the living room.
"Where to?" asked Junho.
Her eyes turned into crescents.
"I missed my girlfriend like hell so I have to see her now or I'll die."

Since SooYoung messaged her last night where they're going to have a photoshoot, she immediately told her driver to drive to the place so she can surprise the girl. She was very excited to see her girlfriend. She can't wait to hug her, kiss her, and show her just how much she missed her.
She slowly walked towards the reception area of the building and asked the receptionist what floor the photoshoot of VS models is going on. She thanked the woman once she got the answer. It's on the twenty first.
When she stepped inside the elevator, two girls also entered the lift and she felt literally small because the two were like six footers. Maybe they're models, she just concluded.
She pouted and sulked in the corner when she thought how unfair life is when it comes to height.
"Hey, back to the story, do you know what happened to Malorie Heimlich? I heard she was once a favorite." one of the girls started to talk and though she's not a natural eavesdropper she can't help but listen because of their loud talking.
"Yeah. After debut, she's really one of the favorites. Many people had a huge crush on her 'coz she's really pretty and y. But she never made it for even two months." the other girl said and she became really curious as to what happened to the subject of talk. Seems like the Malorie girl was a model, too.
"Why is that? I never heard the reason why."
"Oh, pity her. It's really hard to become an Angel and she lost it all in a split second. She was dropped and dumped by Victoria's Secret because she broke important rules."
"What rules? We have many, you know."
"First, she posed for Playboy Mag without the company's consent. They would have let it slip when she apologized but the other offense was really shameful though. It's one of the top policies she desecrated."
"What's it?"
"Well, the management found out that she's having a relationship with a talkshow host. And a girl at that, which was the worst violation an Angel can commit. They immediately terminated her contract and would have filed a lawsuit since it's really a crime for the company, b
