"How did they know?! Oh my God, this ain't the right time and definitely not the right place. What shall we do? Ugh! I'm so dead," Tiffany remarked in exasperation as she turned towards the maid. SooYoung just remained silent beside her.
"A-Are you sure they're still in their cars? They didn't enter the house?" she asked, afraid that the girls might see their life-sized, post-wedding photo by the staircase. "Yes, Ma'am. Miss HyoYeon said that they'll just wait for you in there. But they still might—" "I know! They're so impatient that I'd better go downstairs now before they come inside. Go first and tell them I'm coming." The maid complied and Tiffany then turned to SooYoung. "Uhm. Babe, just wait here, okay?" The tall girl practically glared at her. "Don't you call me that. You have no right to." "But I'm your wife! A-And you used to tell me about rights..." "Stop that whining or your friends will know your dark secret right this instant. Go now," SooYoung lightly pushed her out of door. "I-It isn't that dark of a secret, you know. You're talking about our marriage," Tiffany managed to say as SooYoung mouthed 'whatever' and closed the door in her face. She sullenly walked away and headed for the stairs. When she was about to reach the last step, she turned to her right and her eyes widened when she saw the girls already marching their way inside the house. She immediately ran towards them and hindered the way. "H-Hey. Where are you guys going?" she asked nervously. She could only be glad the staircase is not that near from the front door. And the picture is not visible from there. "Duh. We're going inside," Jessica responded like that should be perfectly obvious. Tiffany panicked when the blonde eyed the way to the stairs. But felt relieved once the girl turned back to her. "How come you hadn't told us about this villa of yours? That's too much secrecy, Hwang MiYoung," Jessica scoffed while the others scanned the house in awe. The redhead was left with no choice but to lie. Again. But just a little. "I-It's a gift from Dad. I've just moved in... r-recently so I hadn't told you." "Oh, Uncle's so nice. He gave you a villa in lieu of your condo. Shouldn't you be glad, Tiff?" Sunny mused and happily skipped towards the living area on the left side. They all followed and settled on the couches. "This house is so magnificent. I've always wanted to buy my own if Daddy would just let me," HyoYeon commented. "But it's so huge for only one person. And you're living here by yourself?" "A-Ah. I'm living with— ah... with the maids. Right, I'm living with the housemai— By the way, how did you get to know this place?!" "Oh, we went over to your Dad's house and uhm, I think that's a new maid who told us the address you're staying." 'Stupid maid! She's really dead!' "Can we go check upstairs, Ppany?" TaeYeon asked excitedly and Tiffany was taken aback by the sudden question. "What?! No! Uhm, I-I mean, maybe some other time. We should get going now, right? Right?" The girls looked at her skeptically and hesitated at first. But they agreed nonetheless. Tiffany felt a rush of relief as they stood up because she'll finally escape the further interrogation. But it was until someone called out from the the front door. "Tiffany Unnie!" They all turned their heads from the source of the boisterous voice. And Tiffany's face went pale when she saw her wife's younger sister smiling widely at her. "Seo... SeoHyun?" she asked in utter shock. "Yes, Unnie. It's me!" the girl walked over to them and gave her a bear hug. The young but tall girl then smiled and bowed at the other girls after pulling away from the hug. "Good evening to you all." "Oh, what a sweet girl. Who is she, Tiff?" Sunny asked of her and she felt like fainting at the moment when everyone's gaze fell upon her. They're all waiting for her to answer but she's already zoning out. 'Sweet mother of god! What is SeoHyun doing here?' She was busy thinking for an answer that she didn't notice the girl's already introducing herself. "Hey, Unnie? Fany Unnie? Ahm, o-okay. Ah, I am Choi SeoHyun. Nice to meet you all," SeoHyun introduced herself and the girls did the same while Tiffany was just staring at them. "So, SeoHyun, you're a Choi. Does that mean you're somehow related to SooYoung?" HyoYeon asked and the question seemed to wake Tiffany up from her stupor. "Oh, that. She's my older sister. And Tiffany Unnie here is my—" "SeoHyun! When did you get back in Seoul?" Tiffany hastily piped up to stop the girl from further talking and spilling things she shouldn't. "Just this morning. I've come with SooYoung Unnie. Didn't she tell you? Where is she anyway? Oh right, she's probably up—" "She hadn't told me! And we... we haven't talked since she arrived this morning." "Excuse me. But where have you been, SeoHyun? I thought SooYoung's in Seoul all this time," Jessica butted in when she can't get the logic of the talk, plus Tiffany kept on cutting the younger girl's words. "I'm living in Spain, Jessica Unnie. My sister went there yesterday morning and she got back here with me this morning," the girl explained, smiling at Jessica. The latter and the others as well, all nodded as they finally understood. "Fany Unnie, can I talk to SooYoung unnie? Appa wants me to tell her something." The girls creased their foreheads at the question. They're getting confused as the minutes ticked by. Tiffany's acting weird and SeoHyun kept on talking about her sister as if SooYoung's the reason why she's at Tiffany's house. "Wait, I don't get it. Why are you asking Ppany's permission to talk to your own sister? And Tippany Hwang, what's happening? What's with you and SooYoung? We thought you two already broke up," TaeYeon asked the bugging question. And it was SeoHyun's time to show an utterly confused frown when she heard the multiple questions coming from the midget. And the 'broke up' part... "What 'broke up', TaeYeon Unnie? What is she talking about Fany Unnie?" All the confusion piled up and it was all for Tiffany to clear everything up. She anxiously rubbed her nape and just as she was about to open to speak, "Whose phone is that?!" HyoYeon exclaimed as they looked for the owner of the loudly ringing phone. Sunny let out an awkward chuckle. "I-I guess, that's my ringtone." Then she instantly grabbed her purse and fished out her phone. "Oh, why is YoonA calling me? Jessi?" she asked the blonde in confusion. One person stiffened when she heard the name but didn't say a word. "Eh, I've left my phone in my condo." "Answer it then," Sunny handed the phone to Jessica. The latter reluctantly grabbed it and excused herself. The remaining girls threw Tiffany a you-owe-us-an-explanation stare as they waited for Jessica. The youngest was just staring into space until the blonde came back. "Girls, YoonA asked what time we're coming
