Narrator’s P.O.V:
After getting off the train, the two walked a long distance, through somewhere that somewhat resembled a trail.
The trees shielded most of the rain, but Miyoung had packed two umbrellas, just in case.
As they got farther and farther away from the train station, Byunghun began to grow more and more puzzled. They traveled all this way, and there was not one human in sight.
Growing wary, he wanted to ask Miyoung where on earth they were going, but he was afraid she might not want to reveal that just yet.
And so, he kept his mouth shut as they walked, and walked, and walked…
…and when they reached a large clearing, Miyoung told him to stay.
“Pardon?” L. Joe blinked twice at her, not quite understanding.
“I’m sorry,” she replied, her expression indifferent, “I’ll just be a few minutes. I just need to be alone.”
“Miyoung—“
“I’m sorry,” she called again, backing away and opening up her umbrella, “Please, just stay here, okay, Byunghun? Whatever you do, don’t follow me. I’ll come back soon.”
The blond furrowed his eyebrows, but let out a curt, yet hesitant, nod. Miyoung beamed again before crossing into the clearing, and he didn’t know why, but it felt like he’d just made a big mistake.

5 minutes.
10 minutes.
20 minutes.
When it neared 25 minutes, the android was losing it. Twenty-five stupid minutes, and Miyoung still hadn’t returned. What on earth was going on?
Those ‘few minutes’ that she’d told him sounded like bogus now. What kind of person met someone in the middle of nowhere after traveling near and far for just a ‘few minutes’ anyway?
Something just didn’t seem right, but he didn’t want to go against his master’s words.
