‘Hurry up would you we have a famous idol coming’ Ahjumma hurried me

‘Why is this guy so special doesn’t he always come though?’ I asked Ahjusshi

‘She has always been like this ever since Bi began to come to our store’ he said

I looked outside the window

‘There isn’t any rain outside’ I said to Ahjusshi

‘No No’ he said laughing at me ‘The famous idol Bi, don’t you know who he is?’

‘Ahjusshi remember I grew up in America of course I don’t know who he is’ I said continuing to clean the table

‘Would both please stop chattering and hurry up and clean?’ Ahjumma yelled from the kitchen.

‘Aish fine’ I sighed and began cleaning the other tables.

Within twenty minutes all the other ten tables were clean (Ok so maybe I’m exaggerating there but it was done pretty quickly)

Then the door opened.

‘Taejo Togokahn!’ I screamed and then covered my mouth (Rain’s Speed Racer name)

I ran into the kitchen, I love Speed Racer that is the best movie ever. Yeah I’m sorta tomboy, I guess you could say.

‘­­­­­­­_______-ah can you please make Bi’s order?’ Ahjumma said with her grit teeth forcing a smile

‘Deh’ I said walking to the stove and reading the order. Jjajangmyeon, (Black Bean Noodles) hey that’s my signature dish.

~Omo Taejo Togokahn is going to eat my signature dish~ I thought to myself as I happily made the dish.

I put it all onto a plate and went to serve him. I was about to grab the tray when my Ahjumma came and snatched it away from me.

‘We don’t need you to embarrass us anymore’ she hissed

Jeez, I wanted to serve him. No fair.

I was about to walk back into the kitchen, when I saw Ahjusshi drop a glass and the water spill. I quickly ran to help Ahjusshi.

‘Gwenchana?’ I asked him

‘Yes I’m ok’ he said ‘But I don’t think your Ahjumma is’

I didn’t want to look up to see Ahjumma’s death glare but instead I cleaned the spill and took the cup from Ahjusshi and walked back into the kitchen.

I have been in here for almost twenty minutes and I haven’t been able to see my favourite actor. It is one boring day just standing in a kitchen with no other customers to serve.  Ahjumma closed the store just for her favourite son (she wishes), so I am bored out of my mind.

‘Where is the young girl that was here when I arrived and then disappeared?’ he asked

Is that me? No it isn’t me but I am the only girl that disappeared

‘I know your there, please come out I have something to ask you’ he said

I walked out to the dining area and stood close to the door of the kitchen, with my head hung low.

‘You’ve done nothing wrong’ he said laughing

‘That’s not what everyone else thinks’ I changed to English, muttering under my breath ~The advantage of knowing another language~

‘Well actually I would like to ask you a question’ he said ‘Would you like to come work for me?’
