Forbidden Boys

Eunbi changed her mind quite immediately. She feared her mother would find out that Sehun returned home as soon as they got there, something she couldn’t allow. Not when she could be grounded. A feat that would destroy the whole winter break. Because of that, Eunbi excused herself. She told Yixing she needed to talk to Sehun before she headed off. Sehun was nowhere in sight though, because when she stepped out on the parking lot, he’d already disappeared. That he’d succeeded in not only finding the bus stop, but also boarded it seemed highly unlikely. It was impossible that he’d managed to leave the resort. But the task of actually finding him was harder than she’d first expected, and he more time that passed, the more certain she became that he’d left.

A few minutes later, Eunbi decided to stop. She found no point in looking anymore and instead decided to head back to the lodge. But that didn’t mean she wasn’t bothered by it, for the troubling thought that her mother would find out was constantly present during the way back.

Therefore did it arrive as a relief and slight irritation when she saw Sehun. He was standing a few feet from the lodge entrance, smoking. Eunbi came to a halt and stared at him. She was immensely relieved that he hadn’t left. But she was also annoyed at him, how he stood there without a single thought about how she felt. Sehun though, had not taken notice of the younger girl yet. He wasn’t even aware of the fact that Eunbi was looking for him until she walked up to him, her face set in a scowl.

“I’ve changed my mind. You can’t go home.” she didn’t dare take any chances now when everything was going so good.

“I don’t think that’s for you to decide.” Sehun replied before he inhaled yet another breath of smoke. His carelessness and lack of respect for his own body was astonishing and Eunbi frowned as he exhaled, a cloud of smoke slipping from his lips. She shouldn’t have been so irritated by the scene. But she was, and without further ado, she did what she’d done once before. Eunbi took a hold of the cigarette, pulled it away, and then let it fall to the ground. Sehun’s only reaction was to sigh. He wasn’t going to fight her anymore. He’d pushed past that phase already.

“I’ll give you another favor.” she needed to do everything in her power to make him stay. It didn’t matter if she had to bribe him. What she hadn’t expected though, was Sehun’s reaction. His usual lack of expression left way for a tiny smirk. A smirk Eunbi tried to ignore as she continued.

“But you’ll have to behave. And please, can’t you be a bit nicer to Yixing? He thinks you hate him.” Eunbi instructed in hope that he would listen. It was important for her that Sehun was nice to Yixing. More so since the latter was her boyfriend now and all. Sehun however, couldn’t have cared less about that. He wasn’t there to make friends, and would not bother to be nice to either of the other three males. He didn’t say that of course.

“I won’t make any promises.” Sehun pushed himself away from the wall. He had no intention to be friendly towards anyone. Eunbi paid no real attention to his words. She was just happy that he would stay because it meant her mother wouldn’t cause any troubles. Eunbi felt considerably more at ease after that. Sehun on the other hand wasn’t as delighted. His decision to stay was immediately doubted when he stepped inside the lodge again, for he was questioned about what he would do. Ski or snowboard.

“Nothing.” it wasn’t only because he didn’t want to. But also because he couldn’t ski or snowboard. He’d never done it before and was not going to embarrass himself by trying. It was out of the question.

“You’re kidding right? Come on. It’ll be fun.” Tao stated, completely unaware of the fact that Sehun wanted no part in their little adventure. The latter would’ve, if that damn bartender hadn’t denied him, been seated at the bar all day, drinking. Eunbi looked at Sehun, unsure of what he actually wanted to do. She couldn’t help but to be a bit curious as to why Sehun stayed. Had the additional favour been the only thing or did he have some other motive.

“You don’t have to if you don’t want. We’re not going to force you.” Yixing smiled before he took a gentle hold of Eunbi’s hand, whose cheeks flushed at the contact. The act shouldn’t have been bothersome to witness. But it was and Sehun felt irritated and slightly annoyed by it all. Right then and there, he began to regret the decision he’d made. It would’ve been a lot easier if he took the bus back home and forgot all about this day. Maybe that’s what he should do. Get the hell out of there. The thought grew more and more on him as he stood there. At least he wouldn’t have to see Yixing and the other two if he left. It was tempting and he would probably have said something if it hadn’t been for that Eunbi interrupted his thoughts.

“It’s his loss.” they were not there to please Sehun and it was not long before she asked when they would head outside. Eunbi was so eager to have fun that she completely disregarded Sehun. Not because she didn’t want him there, but more because she wanted to be with Yixing, who explained that they needed to go buy a lift pass. What none of them expected though, was Sehun having changed his mind. Eunbi especially was surprised by his sudden change of behaviour, and even started to question his motives when he sent her a quick glance. What made her further baffled was the fact that he actually headed for the rental house. Another thing she noticed before he left was that he seemed somewhat angry.

“Come on. Let’s buy the lift passes.” Eunbi followed after the three males. But not without feeling a tiny bit worried for Sehun. She didn’t know he could ski. Then again, their family had never went on a vacation together so Eunbi couldn’t possibly know what kind of skills he possessed. He could be a pro for all she knew.

A thought that was diminished the second they all stood on the slope. Not only did he wait until Yixing, Tao and Kai had left, but he fell forward the second he moved. It was obviously not as easy as he thought and to make matters worse, Eunbi noticed his struggle and smiled. The said girl found it hilarious to see Sehun like that. His confidence and cockiness long gone. Eunbi couldn’t help but to feel a bit relieved by the fact that she wasn’t the only one having difficulties. More importantly. She managed to keep herself standing as she, in a really slow speed, pushed forward and made her way down the hill. It worked okay until she began to pick up speed. The ordeal caused her to panic for she feared she’d end up crashing into something or someone, and she had to move about to slow herself down. What she hadn’t foreseen however, was that Sehun would race past her. His body language made it rather obvious that he seemed to have no idea what he was doing and how he was supposed to stop. But in difference to just moments earlier, Eunbi was concerned for him. She was scared he would hurt himself.

Right then. Sehun fell. He tumbled forward and slid countless of meters before he came to a halt, his face buried in the snow. That he lay still only heightened Eunbi’s worry and she hurried to where he was. Sehun on the other hand, covered his face with his hands when he heard that someone was approaching out of fear that he would be run over.

“Are you okay? Sehun?” Eunbi spared no thought about the skis as she unstrapped the boots from them and ran. She headed over to Sehun, who’d now managed to sit up. Another kind of adrenaline rushed through her as she fell to her knees beside him. Without even thinking, she peeled her gloves off and started to brush the snow out of his face.

“Couldn’t you have been a bit more careful?” she wasn’t sure where this new side of her came from. It was Sehun for gods sake. Not Yixing. But despite that, she continued until Sehun latched onto her wrists and told her to stop.

“Why don’t you take care of your boyfriend instead.” Sehun frowned, let go off Eunbi’s hands, and then unstrapped his boots from the snowboard. All before he moved about to stand. Eunbi followed suit, baffled by the older male’s sudden act. Whatever was going on with Sehun, she couldn’t know and she was not given a chance to ask for Yixing, along with Tao and Kai showed up. The three of them were all worried and wondered what’d happened. Sehun said nothing, which in turn left Eunbi without an option.

“Sehun fell.” further explanation was unnecessary, something they also seemed to agree on for they made no huge deal out of it. But that didn’t mean Sehun was less embarrassed. In fact, he wanted no more than to get away from the slope and therefore took the decision to head for the lodge after he’d retrieved the snowboard and informed the others.

And as if his fall wasn’t enough, he saw how Yixing planted a kiss on Eunbi’s cheek just before he turned to leave.

Chapter 75: rereading this really bring the memories back..i feel so nostalgic (ToT) i read this ff back in the days when i was a high school student..& now im pursuing my degree (still in first sem)..what makes me reread this back was bcs your ff are one of the ff that i like so ur story's plot kinda stuck in my head and a few weeks ago it just randomly popped out in my mind and i have a very HARD time remembering the title lol i only remember that luhan & sehun were siblings in the ff and believe me i tried to search my upvoted stories but damn the list is just too much & i think i kinda missed it so i search almost of luhan & sehun tags but meh i also just give up with that but yesterday while patiently scrolling thorough my upvoted stories again, i accidentally stumbled into forbidden boys and i believe me i almost screamed my lungs out around 3-4 am. anyways thanks for the great & amazing ff author-nim!!!!!! ♡(◡‿◡✿) please dont delete it or put it on draft!! I kinda sad actually that most of my fav fics are gone its either bc of the author deactivated their acc or put it in draft (revamp reason) or more heartbreaking, they just delete it (T_T)
