Hey guys! I'm sorry for the super delay in updating ! "Being busy" has always been an excuse.. But um.. yeah, I dont know what else to say. I have, honestly, been very busy, with many tests and stuff at school. I've had half of this chapter written already but I was just never really bothered, or found the time to continue it. But since you guys have all been so lovely, and there were more requests, questions, subscribers and all, I decided I should start getting to work! HAHAHA. ANYWAY. SO LETS GET THIS CHAPTER STARTED! :)

 

 

Dieting isn't all about being skinny or losing weight. Some people go on diets simply because they want to be healthier.

So, in this chapter, I'll be teaching everyone how to, both, maintain a healthy weight and lose weight.
 

SO LEGGOOO ~~

 

WARNING:

- I can't stress enough, if you're under the age of 15 - DONT BOTHER DIETING. i dont care how chubby you may be, but dieting at such a young age (AND DONT SAY YOU'RE NOT YOUNG. 15 is freaken young okay. you dont have wrinkles yet o.o) is not healthy AT ALL.

- Dieting does not mean " not eating food ". whoever thinks dieting means eating an apple a day, you're insane... *just saying*

- Sometimes, during a dietary period, it is possible for a person to eat MORE food than they usually do - believe it or not :P (HEALTHY food though! not an extra 10 bags of chip T.T)

- For those who have any sort of illness or generally feel unwell very easily - you might want to consider cancelling your diet plan. otherwise, avoid making too many changes in your daily diet (seek a doctor for advice, if necessary)

 

1. S U G A R   &   F A T

let's not get too detailed into this, i'm pretty sure everyone knows the reason why we should cut down on sugary and fatty foods.
when you're not being active and buring off those excess fat and oil and sugar, it will stay in your body hence making you fat.

 

2. V E G E TA B L E S

when dieting, it is a good idea to eat foods that are HIGH IN FIBRE. the more greens, the better ! :)
it will help flush the toxins out of your body

 

3. A V O I D

here is a list of foods that everyone on a diet should NOT eat or at least, they should not eat it too often or in a large amounts:

• Carbohydrates - rice, wheat, pasta, etc.
• Protein - beef, pork, bacon, sausages, etc.
• Milk, Butter
• Any food high in sugar
• Fruit - I know this sounds funny, but fruits contain a whole bunch of sugar (ever wondered why fruit tasted so nice and sweet). You dont have to avoid fruits; just make sure you're not consuming a lot all at once and not buring off the sugar
• Processed Foods - packaged chips, canned foods, etc.

• Fast Food - no maccas guise D:
• Alcohol, Coffee, Cordial, Soft Drinks, etc.

 

 

Different diets you can try include: (i wont bother giving too much detail about the diet; there's just a brief description and if you're interested, I have left a direct link for you to get more information)

 

☆ Paper Cup Diet
→ All the girls of Nine Muses do / or have done this diet
→ This diet mainly focuses on limiting proportion sizes
→ Claimed to help you lose around 10kg in 3 months (But remeber, they say this to promote the diet. Besides, results for each body differs)
→ Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in the 3 paper cups so you eat 9 paper cups worth of food per day
→ What you're allowed to have: 1 cup of carbs (brown rice, pasta, etc.), 1 cup of fruits, 1 cup of anything you so desire (anything healthy. so like your side dish with your carbs, eg. vegetables, etc.)
→ If you generally eat in very, very big proportions, I suggest you skip this diet: this is not a very good starter. Starvation can easily occur if you're reducing your food intake by that much.

☆ Blood Type Diet
→ Eating foods based on your blood type
→ Does not 100% help you lose weight (everybody varies) but you definitely feel fitter and less bloated after the diet
→ Here's a table outlining which foods should be consumed regularly (best foods), avoided (worst foods), and what promotes weight loss for the specific blood group (foods that aid this blood type the best):

→ How regularly should you workout?
Type O: intense exercise for at least 3-4 days a week (including: jogging)
Type A: light - moderate exercise twice a week (including: yoga)
Type B: moderate exercise at least 3 times a week (including: swimming)
Type AB: moderate exercise at least 3 times a week (including: swimming)

☆ The Lemon Detox Diet
→ This diet requires you to drink several cups of fresh lemon / lime water (no sugar!) every single day; for 14 days
→ The lemon is supposed to help you flush out the toxins in your body
→ No fatty or sugary foods during this diet
→ Hyomin of T-ara used this diet trick in preparation for her solo, "Nice Body"

☆ Ginger (Red) Tea Diet
→ Very similar to the lemon detox diet; same methods
→ Claimed to help you lose around 10 pounds in a week or so (again, this varies)
→ The ginger will help you flush out the toxins
→ No fatty or sugary foods during the process; only exception - you can add a bit of brown sugar into your drink if it's too hot
→ Adding lemon is an option

☆ Danish Diet
→ Nicole did this diet and claimed she lost over 3kg in around 2 weeks
→ The diet lasts for 14 days
→ This diet focuses on limiting calorie intake
→ Food in this diet are high in protein and low in calories
→ Meat must not be fried
→ Black coffee can be replaced by water
→ Regular exercise is essential during this diet

☆ Secret's Diet Plan
→ This is a diet designed specifically for the idol group Secret from TS Entertainment
→ Rated as top 5 most effective diet in Korea
→ Their diet aims to increase fruits and vegetables intake
→ Low calorie diet
→ Limits proportion sizes
→ Again, if you generally eat big meals, I suggest you avoid this diet
→ Not allowed to have any other foods in between meals except fruits and water
→ Below is the daily diet plan for Secret:

Monday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, 1 apple, 1 sweet potato
Lunch: chicken salad
Dinner: 8 cherry tomatoes, 1 cucumber

Tuesday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, low-fat milk
Lunch: 1 sweet potato
Dinner: 8 strawberries, 5 cherry tomatoes

Wednesday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, low-fat milk
Lunch: 1 sweet potato, 5 cherry tomatoes
Dinner: 5 strawberries, 1 cucumber

Thursday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, low-fat milk
Lunch: chicken , 8 strawberries
Dinner: 5 cherry tomatoes, 1 cucumber

Friday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, 1 apple
Lunch: 3 eggs, 1 cucumber, 5 cherry tomatoes
Dinner: 10 strawberries, 1 cucumber

Saturday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, low-fat milk
Lunch: 1 sweet potato
Dinner: 1 tofu, 3 cherry tomatoes

Sunday
Morning: 1 slice of toast, 1 apple, low-fat milk
Lunch: 1 sweet potato
Dinner: 1 cucumber

 

 

 

There are definitely more diets but those are the 6 that I believe are the most effective out of all the ones I know. Like I've mentioned a couple of times throughout this post; results differ from one person to another. Dieting isn't always easy but if you strive for your goals and fight for what you want, you will get there one day! And remember, EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE !

Hey.. thanks for the tips on how to burn belly fat. I've been always wanted a flat tummy like Krystal.. but don't know how cuz I'm the type to eat quiet unhealthy food especially after SPORTS.
Hmm.. do you have tips about hygiene(terms of cleanliness). Like how to smell good all the time, especially GIRLs and you're at school.. so ofc you're gonna smell bad with the sweat and all. I have a friend who's having trouble with that. I tried my very best giving her tips on HOW I DO it, and she said it's hard and all. I'm always like "give it a try. Should do this often. Ofc it's hard at first, you'll get used to it"
Ohhh.. 2nd thing. Any tips on how to have a very soft palm. I play sports, so my palm is VERY VERY DRY and ROUGH. Heheh THANK YOU <3
