Kim Hyunjoo. She’s not from a wealthy family. In fact, her family is in debt. Not like those usual situations where the family is in debt because of gambling. Her family is in debt because her family had to pay off the hospital bills for her sick mother who is still in the hospital. It's not only that. Her grandmother died of old age while they were still struggling to pay the hospital bills.

Her dad was her grandmother’s only son so he had to pay for the funeral by himself, which ended up with him borrowing money. He knew the consequences of paying late so they moved to another place to live, transferring his wife to another hospital.

They moved out of their already shabby home to a shabbier house. More like Hyunjoo had to. Her dad didn’t want her to live with him, in case the loan sharks find him and do something to her only daughter. They had mutal feelings on the situation. After many years of running away, she is now in her final year of high school and her life starts to take a turn when she these boys enter her life. Will it be a good turn around, or will it be worse?
