Chapter 7

From the side of Suho’s bed, the typing sound of phone keys could be heard almost rhythmically. Sehun knew maybe his hyung was exchanging messages with someone in EXO-M about the success today. Right after arriving at the dorm, Suho sent a ‘thank you’ message for each EXO’s members because everyone went straight to each of their bedroom, too tired even to say ‘good night’.

“Sehun-ah?”

“Um?”

“Am I disturbing you?”

Sehun turned his face to Suho. Suho’s face was vague over the phone light. “A-ani…”

“So why haven’t you slept yet?”

Sehun changed his sleeping position. This time he slipped one arm under pillow helping to support his head higher. His eyes were still wide open, not affected by tiredness. Commonly, he would fall asleep in no more than two seconds after landing on the bed. The extraordinary event just now, if he told Suho would it be all right?

No.

What would be his reaction then?

Would he say something unpleasant?

“Sehun…” Suho inched closer to the side of Sehun’s bed. “Do you… miss your mom?”

Usually that was the reason Sehun used when Suho caught him wide-awake staring at the ceiling in the middle of the night. In some occasions that was true at all. Sehun missed his mother and whole family at home. For one year, SME only gave them some days off which he made the best use of it.

This time, Sehun was wide-awake with no sleepiness because of Luhan… and Kai.

“Hyung, sleep. I’ll come afterward. I’m fine,” said Sehun with a fake smile.

Was this really all right… Kai hyung?
