Pil Suk's P.O.V

"No. 1298 Kim Pil Suk---" the woman stopped as soon as she saw me enter.

Silence....

"What is that?"

"It looks like a cartoon character."

"Do you plan to wear that costume during your audition?" asks an ahjusshi as if I was a joke

"Y-yes." I stutter, feeling a little self-conscious

"It seems you have no confidence in your looks." He looks at my picture, "Your photo is also blurry."

"Yes..a little. But it's only like that because I used my cellphone camera." I say. I couldn't tell them that I did it on purpose

Flashback

"Pil Suk ah! What are you doing in your room?" umma said banging on my bedroom door.

"Nothing!" I say out of breath as I stop jumping up and down my bed. Looking through all the pictures I finally found one good enough that's blurry."

"Yes! Finally, I found one out of 112 pictures!"

I lie on my bed, congratulating my self.

End of Flashback.

"It's a little hard with that attire. Take it off or leave." The woman with short hair said

"Uh, uh can't we do it like this?" I ask uncertainly

I could tell the ahjusshi was about to protest but luckily, the person that seemed to be the principal spoke up.

"Of course...There isn't a reason why it can't happen. Try singing." He turns to the ahjusshi, "Let's try."

"Y-yes." The ahjusshi replied, bewildered.

I take a deep breath and begin to sing.

Everyone seemed impressed.

"The song is already over, why not take off that costume?"

Darn! I forgot about her!

"Did I pass or fail? If you tell me that, I'll take it off."

"Are you trying to make a deal here? Hurry up and take it off!" She shouted

"I apologize." I sigh and finally take the head off.

I fix my mess of a hair and my glasses as I stare at the floor.

"It's really sad that a girl that looks like that can sing so well." I heard the guy whisper to one of the judges

..Ouch

"God doesn't give us everything." she agreed

...Double ouch

"That friend must have gained a lot of your interest." says the ahjusshi to the principal

"Yes, but it seems like you don't like her"

"It's a shame she has such a good voice. She's lacking in looks. It's a difficult choice"

Hello? Did they forget I was still there?

"What shall we do? I will go with your decision." everyone now was looking at the ahjusshi

My faith depends on him? Noooo!

I walk out with my head down in total shock. How could this happen?

I stop walking and kneel on the floor. I look at the picture of my darling Hyun-Jung and smile.

"Oppa." I kiss it. "Oppa! I passed!"

I jump up and down and do my 'happy dance'

"Pass! Pass! Pass~"

I stop.

"I gotta tell umma!"
