2150…Let’s get caught up to speed, on what the world we’ve known has turned into. Starting in the year 2139, an ‘unnamed’ scientist in the U.S. started a project with a team of his friends called The R.A. or The Robot Apocalypse. Together, they’ve made several dozen robots, programmed to help around the house, be used as protection, have the intelligence of Albert Einstein and so much more. Some would say, they have minds of their own. Just before the year had changed, the scientists did a trial test in the robots’ progress. The machines worked, but worked too well. One, the lead scientist often called Spike, immediately turned against his creator and went in an outrage. The other robots followed in suit and escaped, starting a plan to rule the world on their own.

They started on January 1, 2140. The scientists warned the world, on press conferences and spread the word through friends and coworkers. But it was too late. Their creations quickly rebelled and succeeded in claiming the world as their own. Many families were taken by them and turned into robots as well. The robots used pre-made microchips and implanted it into their victims’ brains. Some humans are used as projects and live (though those are rare cases), very few fled into hiding as the once rich world was turned into a giant, barren wasteland. Those who were involved with the robots, were killed. Spike, did that personally. But their families fled and hid, they’ve been hiding ever since.

This is the story of my life, my survival, and my only fellow humans left. Let’s hope I not die while writing this. My name is Lee Chaerin, and this is the Robot Apocalypse.
