Joori flattened her skirt one more time as she left her apartment.
She heard a loud honk and she looked up. It was Baekhyun – she had forgotten he said he was going to pick her up from now on.
She had never really agreed to it, now that she thought about it, but she figured it’d be dumb to refuse a free ride.

“Good morning,” Baekhyun greeted with a bright smile. If he wanted Joori to agree to listen to his stories of Chanyeol, he would have to be as nice as possible.

She forced a smile back and muttered a small ‘hello’. She didn’t understand how he could be so happy and lively so early in the morning.

“If you become a diplomat, don’t forget little me,” she joked.

He was pleasantly surprised at her sudden light-hearted humor.

“Keep your eyes on the road,” she said sternly as he turned to look at her for just a moment. He had wanted to see if she was smiling at her own joke.

“Give me your phone,” Baekhyun suddenly said as they got out of the car.

She gave him a questioning look but did as he asked.
She watched as he punched in his number. If she hadn’t known better, she’d think he was trying to be macho and flirt with her.

“Call me later so we can go home,” he said simply before turning to walk to his class.

He clearly did not care to flirt, thankfully. She stared at his saved contact: Byun Baekhyun. So Byun is his last name…
She sent him
