We’re best friends, Baekhyun and I. We’ve known each other for years, had each other’s backs ever since we were children. He was funny, playful and jolly, always with words that could cheer me up even in my gloomiest days.

I could always tell if something was up with him. Changes in the colours of his eyes, smiles that don’t quite reach his eyes, absentmindedness that wasn’t characteristic of him –I noticed them all. Baekhyun always told me what happened; he knew better than to keep things from me. Likewise, I responded to his open honesty the same way: by telling him everything about myself.

One day, I knew something was off with him; one day, I knew he had fallen in love.

He wanted to make her fall for him. I agreed to help.

We made promises to each other, the both of us. I’d help him win her heart and in turn, he’d help me attain the guy who had captured mine.

Those were the two promises that I, looking back now, regretted to have let happen.

Here's my newest little project. I have been dying to write something fluffy and had been toying with the plot for a while now. Baekhyun immediately popped up in my head as the lead. You have to admit, it is impossible not to like that boy.
