THE OLD ACCOMPLICE
REN
Ren was surprised to be called by a stranger, approaching him and suddenly spilling out an information that he himself doesn't know that there are assumption like that,,
Step brother? is the main question minki had come up in his thought as soon as he heard it from the stranger, looking at jr's direction giving such confusing stare, and it hits his head banged on the wall with that word,,"when did we become step-brother?, is the question he wants to ask to jr,,,"im not his step-brother,,is the phrase he wants to answer to the new face but he was thinking if he will talk and answer, that means a trouble,,,,so he kept silent while looking carefuly to the tall guy who was now holding his both shoulder with a smile...maybe jr just made that excuse to his friend so their relationship will be safe,,,
"Wh~~~who are you? was the only safe question he spat out from his pouted lips..
"Owh~~~i'm jr's~~~~ the tall guy was about to answer when jr speed up into race towards them,,,,
Aron's presence is no help, he was really in panic,,his mind is uneasy seeing the situation, if he could just rewind everything, maybe he could just tell the guy or maybe he made a reason and excuse for not going to jr's place...but its not, it's all happening now,,
"owh ren!!! jr called to shut the tall guy's sentence,,,he is my friend back then,,,,,jr interrupted,,,ren gaze suspiciously to the boy,,,
"Friend? Back then? sungjae raise his brows giving a when-did-i-became-just-a-friend-look to jr,,,By the way i'm sungjae, yook sungjae,,the tall guy introduced himself, still not breaking the glare at jr, eyes met for a minute and goes back to the blonde,,,so you are ren,,,nice to meet you,,he said cheerfully,,,
"And how did you know that jr has a step brother? i hadn't heard about you....ren questioned confidently, curious, going with the flow of conversation though he doesn't like the word step-brother, because that's not it, he is a lover not just a brother of someone especially a brother of his own lover,,,,
"aahhhh.. while im overseas. i met his father,,your step father i think,,that's a day before i leave for a flight to korea,,and i asked about the whereabouts of my loving FRIEND, and that's it,,he told me that he was living with his step brother,,sungjae detailed story makes aron more nervous while jr is just staring to the tall guy expressionless and gave a once in a while gaze to the blonde and doesn't know what to say actually,,
Jr in trouble, if he would say the truth about minki, he will need to explain for a week to ren, and if he will tell the tall guy that he is not a step brother but a lover, everything would be the really end of them, to think that being lover of the blonde is not part of the plan that his father and sister gave to him as a command, as a mission,, and if he will tell ren that sungjae is his boyfriend, yes boyfriend since they don't have official break up and the boy came back again to resume the last scene of their life being together, ren will really be upset and they will be in big trouble,,,
The atmosphere became awkward, silence,,sungjae hugged jr once again while jr is just standing and not moving expressionless and eyes never break the stare to minki,,,
"I~~jonghyun~~~i have to go up first,,i'm tired,,,ren came up with his excuse finally,, he walked pass through aron who was still in the doorway, still frozen meat that needs to warm up,,,
"ren~~~ aron called snapping out as the boy slightly bump the shoulder but seems the boy didn't heard,,,aron had nothing to do anymore,,he doesn't know what to do in the first place..he knows ren is jealous now,,and it's his fault,,he didn't thought beforehand what would be ren's reaction about the situation,,feeling guilty,,,
"did he just called him jonghyun?,,,he mind,,,"can i stay here baby~~ sungjae asked the guy in a very low tone after ren left,,,but ren's active eardrums heard the word....
Ren stopped in the middle of the stair cases as the question from the tall guy banged clearly in his ears,like a drum set that hit the wrong cue, he heard it right,,,,he called him baby~~he mumbled, he lowered his head facing his feet that keeps struggling from being frozen and tried to step...that finally his feet voluntarily sped up towards the pink door and his hand willingly twisted the knob and soon entered to the pink walled room, slamming the door close unintentionally,,he looked at the door immediately and covered his mouth, sign that it was just an accident that the door was banged in noise, he didn't mean to do it especially there is someone else in the house,,jr might be angry with it,,he slowly removed his hand from his mouth after few seconds that there is no sign of murmuring downstairs or even a sound of steps coming to check to ask why the door shut soundly like about to break it,,,there is no jr knocking to the door to scold him..
He layed down to the bed and shut his eyes,,"he'll be staying for tonight here? he mumbled,,,,who is he? why did he called jonghyun a baby and he even have much skinship,,,he murmured continuously,,,being exhausted the whole day of arguing to his man with the misunderstanding about the special someone and being too jealous with it, and that ends to a laughable chat together with the grave of shinae, he felt like he doesnt want to think more, though the word still banging his head, step-brother that always pass through his tired brain, he manage to keep it calm and since no jr is coming to check him to check him if he is still awake or not or even gave him a goodnight kiss, he rather close his eyes and fell asleep without washing up and changing his clothes,,,

While on the other hand, aron already disappeared from the house but the tall guy still in there,,seems jr didn't had enough reason for not allowing the boy to stay with him, they hadn't broke up,,they hadn't officially announced to themselves that they are already disconnected to each other,,they had this promise, jr knows it too, he is aware of it..jr hit his head with that promise he made...
~flashback~
"jr,,,can you promise me~~~? sungjae who was laying to jr's bed asked,,
"what is it? jr came to the boy, towering him and ruffled the hair, tapping the lips of the boy with his index finger waiting for him to spit out anything he wanted him to promise,,,
"jr,,you know i love you right? can you promise me that no matter what, you will wait for me and just stay with me even im far? sungjae said seriously,,
"owh come on of course i will,,i promise,, but then,,who told you we will be parted? no one will make us apart,,unless you will tell me right now that we are end,,,no breaking up and i will still be yours,,jr said not expecting that the boy meant it,,i promise,,,he repeated,,and this time it's sincerely made,
"I'll take it as our contract,,,jr... i love you,,even if im gone,, i will still be coming back to look for you,,and my heart won't change...sungjae said as he peck the boy's lips...
''Do you plan to leave me? jr questioned, noticing the seriousness and weirdness of question to him,,,
"sungjae gave a smile as he pulled the guy more closer to filled the gap between them..and jr kissed him back, shoving what was said few minutes ago,,
But the next morning, jr woke up alone with his unclothed body,, he was obviously left by his lover,,,he just chuckled at it when he saw his clothes were nowhere to see..he pick his phone from the side table and tried to call his lover but the phone is already turned off,, calling it many times without answer made his heart beat strangely in panic,,,he thought something accident like that had happened, but there is no call from sungjae or their friends or even from sungjae's parents...
Days had past before he decided to go to sungjae's house and there a stranger showed up to him to the monitor,,
"Who are you? the ajjuma who was on the monitor asked,,,
"It's jr,,,is sungje home? he asked..
"Sungjae?,, ahhh the son of the former owner of this house,,,they've gone overseas already,,,to what i heard from mrs. yook, his husband had an offer overeas so they decided to sell this house and leave on a sudden day,,,the ajjuma explain...
"de? ye~ thank you,,,he said thankfully but his tears wells up down his cheeks,,he forced a smile and wiped his tears,,,,stupid,,,you stupid sungjae,,leaving me like this,,,,he mumbled as he punched the window of his car causing a bloody fist,,,he left the house and drove recklessly and the outcome,,an almost accident crossing the stop light with red mark,,,but good thing he didn't cause any big trouble,, he manage to avoid the car coming on the other way and drive again heading to his house,,,

That's when he decided to leave far from the city, leaving his house to lessen the stress of his mind from the bad memories to that house and been with his friends aron and baekho who were then became friends with their new found friend minhyun,,,,jr became lively whenever he's with his friends and almost forgot about sugjae but then whenever he's alone, he always do remind about him..he spent years away from city, but the three decided to transfer in the city since minhyun persuaded them to go with him, they accepted it knowing what minhyun's purpose of going in the city again,,to find the lost bestfriend that had been became interesting to the two, but jr, he never agreed and was left again,,,reminicsing the past makes his self upset and sad,,
Jr never forgets about his love to sungjae until ren came and filled the loneliness in his heart,,ren who needs shelter of love, had found it to jr unexpectedly,,he just wanted to serve jr at first since he is the one who bought him and now his new master, but since jr didn't even gave the feeling to ren being slave, he slowly thought that jr is different from other guys,, and Jr who had lost a sister and became a cold person and losing a lover in addition, his life became lonely and his world revolves around his money and his friends, and never had an intimate with others, he never gave his heart to anyone, even though lots of boys and girls drooling for him,,,he fell in love with the best in the school,finally when he realize it, it is love and that is ren, the prettiest boy who have blonde hair in the school,,it was just a plan to save the poor boy from the rude master as his father commanded him to do so using his own money, taking care of him for a while until the right time will come to say everything to the blonde, but day by day, he felt something that he can't explain until he knew it was love, for the second time loving someone,,and for the second time he was loved by someone,,,
But now his first love and long awaited love suddenly came back, for what reason? he doesn't know...all he knows is, he waited for sungjae for a long time to get him back and bring the love back, but he didn't came and nowhere to trace, now he has ren who is loving him for no reason,he just felt it, but the fact that he is now with someone else, he doesn't really know where will his heart go now, and the promise he made never skip his mind the moment sungjae hug him excitedly, it makes his heart race again,,, he doesn't want to hurt minki that time but it was obviously made him hurt,,he knows minki well, when will the boy gets upset, when will the boy is angry, when the boy is scared, when the boy is happy, and when the boy is being jealous even with simple detail,,,
Jr cant forget the face of the blonde while passing through them,, a mixed of anger, upset and jealousy,, he can tell it by looking at him in the eyes and the fake smile he gave to sungjae while excusing himself,,,and the tone the boy gave while asking those questions,,his mind can't feel as easy as before,,,
"Jr~baby~~what happen to you? sungjae called out waving his hand to jr's face..
"Jr snapped out, he look at the boy infront of him,,,
"Jr~~why did you tell your step brother that im just a friend? i'm your boyfriend,,,sungjae asked expeting a good answer,,
"boyfriend~~that was long time ago sungjae,,,you left me without any words,,,jr confronted...
"i did,,i asked you, i made you promise me that even im away you will wait for me,,and you did promise,,,sungjae answered and reminded the guy...
"owhh yeahh,,yes i did,,but you didn't told me you're leaving the next day,,you left me and not even telling me that you're leaving me on that bed alone and i didn't know it's a long time journey of yours,,,you just have to explain to me that time and i will understand it..
"ok baby im sorry,,it's all my parent's fault,,they didn't told me earlier,,i want to tell you that night but it hurts me a lot,,and it will hurts me more if i see you while im leaving so i just made you promise me and just gone,,,but i'm here now,,,we can start afresh ok? sungjae explains while breathing unto jr's ear,,,i missed you,, he whispered...
Jr just stood there,,never moved, he never backed off,and never shove the boy out of him,,,sungjae kissed him on lips and tried to make the night together,,,i'm sorry i'm tired,,,jr said sitting on the edge of the bed...
"Ok,,i know it's not easy for you to forgive me,,let's just sleep, and give ourselves some time,,,sungjae finally gave up and layed on the bed...
Jr looked at the boy who just covered by the blanket,,,where will you stay now? you don't have your house here in korea,,,he asked, concerned,,,
"i stayed at aron's place but i'll be transferring and stay here for the moment until my parents will come back too and settle a house for me,,,i asked uncle if i can stay here too, he allowed me,,but if you don't like i can just stay at aron's~~~sungjae answered nonchalantly compared to the happy sungjae a while ago,,a little bit disappointed with the situation,he was expecting a happy jr if he will come back but it's opposite,,,maybe he came to the wrong time and he came back unprepared,,
"do whatever you want,,,jr said standing up and leave the room to cool down,,think everything that is happening now,,,he is more worried for minki,,worried that the boy will come back to the previous minki,the sad one, the loner one and the cold minki he had known at the first meet,,,ren started to open up with others and have friends, it will gonna be a waste if he will just return to the old ren,,,he twisted open his door and found the blonde standing on his own door, looking at the floor blankly, spacing out,,,

Ren woke up after just few hours and never fall asleep again,,,he opened his eyes and they were open widely,,he blinked them many times, he sighed in deep breath and thought about the tall guy again,,,baby,,,he mumbled remembering what the tall guy had mentioned,,,his stomach growled, he rub it gently,,feeling the hunger, he remembered that he hadn't had his dinner,,the last food he ate was the noodles that the caretaker of the grave had given to them,,,he sat up, suddenly his head felt too heavy, and pain attack him, he pressed his temple trying to endure the sudden pain and lazily drag his feet at the edge of the bed and stood up,,walking out of the room,he heard a conversation that is not clear to his ear from jr's room, but the worst thing, he heard one of them saying i missed you,,he forgot the pain in his head, the word became a painkiller to him,,,it is clear as the crystal that formed in his eyes when he heard it but blurred as his eyesight due to that moist blocking his eyes, obviously confuse of what is going on and what was the thing between them to make a conversation as serious as that,,he is asking himself, why do he needs to hear such words, why those words, with all of the long murmurs he was hearing why those words always being clear in his ears,,,,he stood blankly on his door not noticing jr came out from his, he walked with his head lowered until a hand that grabs his wrist awaken him from the outside world,,,
"where are you going? why are you still awake? jr asked looking at the blank face of the blonde...
"Eo!!! ren response simply looking up to the person who grabbed him and talked to him just a moment ago,,,
"i'm asking where you heading at, at this late? jr repeated clearly as possible,,,
"ahh ahmm,,,i~~~~ ren can't seem to find an answer,,he forgot where he is heading to,,ahhh i'm going to the kitchen? he finally snap out and found the answer,,i'm hungry,,,i haven't eaten and...ahhhhh,,, he frowned, i want to take my medicine,,,he added...
"medicine? do you feel pain on your head again? jr asked in worry, patting the head of the blonde,,,
"a little,,,i just slept few hours and i can't sleep again that makes me have a head ache,,,,ren said as he looked away from him,,,
"Eo!!! im sorry i forgot we haven't had a dinner,,i'll ask ajjuma to prepare a dinner,,,jr said while he held the blonde on the waist,,,,ajjuma~~!!!! he called....
"ren had a glance at the hand that was on his waist,,he looked at the guy for seconds while calling the ajjuma, and he slowly removed the hand from his waist and parted,,,i'll wait to the kitchen,,,,he said and walked alone leaving the guy in awe...
"Jr can't believe of what ren had done,,removing his hand to his,,,he was surprised by the action, why did ren pulled out from him? that is the question jr had in mind,,, Ajjuma,,please prepare dinner for us,,,ren is hungry,,he didn't had a proper meal...he commanded as soon as the ajjuma came to him as she gladly obeyed,,, everyone in the house were used to ren,,worried about the boy,,,so she sped up and rush to the kitchen....
Ren is sitting at the kitchen mini bar waiting for the food that ajjuma is preparing,,, ajjuma~~~ ren softly called, leaning his face to the table waiting patiently,,,,
"Wae? i'm sorry princess, this will take 15 minutes,,wait for it ok? i can't give you the leftover,,it's not good if we will just reheat it,,,the ajjuma said as he replied to the boy...
"de~~~ ren response simply and shut his eyes while waiting,,,
Ren is thinking,,,what if he is really a step brother of jr,,but how could it happen,,and who is the father of jr who asked him to help him?, he was thinking a lot this day,,his brain is already exhausted, maybe that's why his head in pain now,,he can't really stressed out his mind, that was the doctor's advice to him, but the things that happened the whole day makes it too stressful, and he can't avoid it,,,he opened his eyes after thinking so many questions to found a shape infront of him,,,he pouted as cute as ever,,,sniffing the air, and the scent brings him to know who is that figure infront of him without looking up to the face,,,JR~~~he mumbled under his breath...
"ne? are you alright? jr asked as he ruffled the messed hair of the blonde, tidying the face from the strands,,sit up straight,, the food is ready,, he said and helped him get up and sit properly,,,
"ahhh,,,ajjuma thank you,,,he said childishly and rolled a noodles on his chopsticks,, it is a red sauce spaghetti with garlic bread on top,,,he ate deliciously and he make sure he could taste the sweet sauce well,,,
"jr chuckled, he grab a piece of tissue from the table and wiped the blonde's lips that had stained with red sauce,,,eat slowly,,it's not good to your stomach if you eat fast,,he said reminding the kid,,,
"can i have some too? sungjae came and hugged jr from the back,,,ajjuma gave a set of wares to him and settled himself beside jr,,,jr gave him a serve the moment sungjae held out the plate infront of him,,,,
"Thank you my dear,,,,sungjae said and smiled....
Ren stood up from his seat,,,"where are you going? are you done? jr asked him,,,,"i'll go get some water, i can't take medicine without water,,,he replied,,,
"Just ask ajjuma to take it for you,,finish your food,,jr told the blonde with his ever sharp stare, that means nothing, he was just as cold as ever when he stare,,,,
"No i can grab my own i'll be back quickly to finish my food,,,minki insisted,,,,
"Ajjuma,,give us some water here please,,,,,Jr shouted to ajjuma who was cleaning the sink, ignoring the excuse of ren...
Ren rolled his eyes,,he just wanted to skip to the scene,,it's just water anyway, though he knows jr never allows him to move in the kitchen, but this is different, he wants to escaped from the two with the excuse of taking the medicine but sad to know that he was failed with his simple plan,,,ajjuma served the water and ren immediately grab the glass from the table slowly and took his medicine...
"what was that medicine for? are you sick? ill? sungjae asked curiously while eating his pasta...
"Just for my head ache,,,ren answered dryly...
"ahhhh,,,,the boy nodded,,,you seems too close already,,,how long did you both live together? and ren is pretty huh,,he looks like a girl,,if i just don't know that he is a boy, i will definitely mistaken him as a girl,,,,sungjae announced..
"ahhh de? so you know me well? how did you~~~~ ren was amazed,,yeah its true that anyone whom he met for the first time mistaken him as a girl but not sungjae,,,he clearly mentioned step-brother and he immediately recognize him,,,
"So how's your stay here,,i heard jr bought you from some~~~one~~~~~~ awwww jr,it hurts,,,sungjae grimaced,,looking at jr,,
"Jr stopped sungjae, he was alarmed to the boy's comments,,,he grabbed the elbow but he didn't notice he held the elbow tightly that makes the other hurt,,,.
"what's wrong with you,,i'm just telling the truth,,he knows it im sure,,im just asking,,sungjae reasoned out,,,,
"finish your food and go to sleep,,we have school tomorrow,,,jr said reminding the blonde...Let's go,,,jr said dragging the boy from the seat and both headed upstairs leaving the poor pretty blonde,,,jr is not happy to what it is the situation now,,,having his past lover and his current lover in the same house is a dillema in his life now,,he can't just shoo sungjae since they haven't broken up and the promise is the contract that sungjae was holding and proof that jr is his still,,and yet he can't just lie to the blonde forever and he can't ignore the fact that sooner or later ren will know everything about what is sungjae in jr's life,,he can't just shrug the fact that ren is not suspecting anything, he is not stupid as others to not notice the moves of sungjae and jr is 99 percent sure that ren knows that sungjae is someone special to his life..
"I know it,,why do i need to recall it,,ren mumbled and pursed his lips,,ajjuma pat his back and comforted him,,,just don't mind him,,sungjae is really straightforward when he talks,,,she said,,,
"i'm done,,,it's delicious,,thank you again ajjuma,,,ren said changing the topic and raise the plate to give it to ajjuma,,,he smiled and left the table,,,he sat on the couch to the living room staring at the dark side of the area until his eyes is pulling down,,,and fell in deep sleep again,,,,
There are moments ren feels happy with jr, but there are times when he feel that jr is not sure about his feelings for him,,is it really love or he just pity him,,,there are times that he felt the love from him but then once again he felt pity for himself knowing the first reason why he is in the house,,,remembering his past is not easy especially when mj showed up to him in school,,,he doesn't really want to go back with his past and he wants to avoid mj as much as possible but it is really impossible,,they belong to one school, they were at the same building,,and mj purposely showed up to bother the blonde,,,There were moments that he feels disgusted to himself whenever the past came to his mind,how his step father back then molested him and how mj reated him as a slave and how the people treated him as a dirty or e,,but then his mind calmed down whenever jr is beside him..his life had changed since he entered the life of jr,,and now another story will come to his life,,what will be his role to jr's life now,,what is the sense of staying in that house,,,what will happen now that jr's friend is around,,in
"No~~~please,,,no~~~ help~~~~ helpp~~~~~ ren mumbled in his sleep,,having his nightmare again,,,,no,,stop it,,,please~~ don't do this to me,,,abeoji~~~ abeoji,,,no,,please please eomma will come soon,,please don't do this to me~~~ he continuously mumbling under his tired breathing, sweating much,,beads of sweats continuously molding in his skin at the cold living room,,,he wiggled and tried to escaped from whatever it was,,crying non stop,,,begging,,pleading in his might,,,abeoji~~~ please forgive me,,i will not do it again,,abeoji~~~ no~~~ please~~~~ no!!!! he shouted,, and finally woke up with that shout,,he pant,,his breath became heavier,,he was sweating than usual,,he stood up and headed on the kitchen with his weaked knees,,,he grab a glass of water and suddenly falls down the cold floor,,he passed out without anyone notice..

the first time i saw him, i said to myself, he looks like sungjong? infinite's maknae,,hahaha,,,so here he is,,he won after debating between seyong and chaejin of MY NAME and kai and chanyeol of EXO,,haha i just don't have much infos with the other groups so yeah,,,,hope its fine with you,,,,sorry to all melodies, to all his fan,,i made him a little bit annoying in this story,,,
