Ara heaved a huge sigh when the bell rang. Grabbing her bag, she dashed out of the classroom. Unfortunately, the corridor was filled, and in her hurry she almost bumped into a girl. Brown curls brushed against Ara's lips, and she made a face. They reeked of hairspray and other products she couldn't even name.

  "Excuse me," she muttered halfheartedly when she pushed the girl aside. Ara didn't have any time to lose. Her part-time job was starting in ten minutes, and heck, she still had a long walk ahead. The girl, she bumped into, turned around with an annoyed expression only a rich, spoiled brat from this oh-so-prestigious school could have, but her face fell when she saw Ara; and with that her confidence.   "Ugh, it's her," the girl mumbled, seemingly looking down on the fact that Ara wasn't well off like her. But she didn't dare to say anything else, since Ara's reputation had always been bad. She'd been labeled the 'poor y ice princess', also known as the 'commoner' or the 'scholarship student'.   Either the girl was afraid of Ara's cold glare, or afraid of some kind of virus going over to her if she stayed in Ara's radius for longer than two seconds. At least it seemed so. Ara didn't care though as she had other things to worry about instead of the bad attitude towards her of some students of her school. And it wasn't like she had a better attitude towards them.   Ara impalpably raised her eyebrow and gave the girl an uninterested look before brushing past her. She certainly did not have time to waste, especially not on such a brat. Just as she walked past her, someone bumped into her from the side. Oh, how she hated these corridors. Annoyed, she looked to the side. A boy looked at her, seemingly as annoyed as she was that they had to ump into each other.   Taking a deep breath, she dashed forward. Just before she reached the exit, she noticed that a huge crowd formed outside. Squinting her eyes in an attempt to see whether there was a small gap to squeeze through or not, she realized that the crowd was surrounding a few guys.   Ara frowned. They were called the Kings of her school. Or something like that. Honestly, she didn't know much about her school's students because she was too occupied with following the classes precisely, since she couldn't afford any mistakes or bad grades as she was a scholarship student. And outside school she tried not to socialize with the rich children of this school as much as she could. In fact, she didn't even have time to, since she was busy with my part-time jobs to support her single-parent family.    Life sure , huh?    But wallowing in self-pity wouldn't get Ara anywhere. It's her that needs to get somewhere. To her part-time job, that is.   As her thoughts trailed off, she reached the crowd and looked for a gap in it, only to realize that she had to make one heself. Mumbling some excuses, she pushed away all the girls who stood in her way - for a girl Ara was quite strong actually.
