Also known as the Red thread of Destiny,  this Chinese/Japanese legend tells us, that the gods have tied a red cord around the ankles/pinkies of those that are to meet one another in a certain situation, destined to be soulmates, to one day marry each other. It may be twisted or knotted, but it will never be broken.

When a couple of friends are pulled in by this string of fate, it is hard to believe how tangled it truly is.
