I was still dazed when we step out of YG’s office.

“Yeongbae-ah, ottoke. I think I made a mistake”

“Yeah, I think so too, who would’ve guess at first glance that she is sajang-nim’s daughter”

“What if the girl tells sajang-nim about what happened?”

“I was speechless when sajang-nim called her his daughter. But, she looks nice. Maybe she’ll just forget it”, replied YoungBae.

“I hope so too. Aish, I need to meet her again to ask for forgiveness”

I can see Dongwook hyung is rushing to go out as he also clearly didn’t mind his steps that made him bumped into Yeongbae.

We both pay our respect to him as he is our senior.

I’ve decided to relieve my uneasiness feeling by going out to play and Dongwook hyung seems to be good victim now.

“Hyung, where are you going? Can we come too? Treat us hyung~” I said while doing aegyo.

Nobody can resist my aegyo especially Dongwook hyung, heh. *smirk*

“Aigoo~ my dongsaengs. I’m going to meet Byul now. But, I think you guys can come along. You’ll make the perfect cover for us. Byul is already with the sajang-nim’s daughter, the more the merrier!” replies Seven cheerfully.

Huh? What did I just heard. Dongwook hyung is going to Byul nuna who is with sajang-nim’s daughter now!!

I can’t stop smiling.

My problem will be resolved just in a moment, I thought.

“Yah Ji, you hear that. We can meet her! That’s your chance to apologize to her.”, whispered Yeongbae to me.  “Aigoo, stop smiling. We’ll meet her and you have to apologize. You must, got it. Now let’s go, Dongwook hyung is already waiting”, said Yeongbae again while pulling my hand.

In the car I tried asking Dongwook hyung about her, you know trying to know her better before meeting her officially.

“Hyung, do you know our sajang-nim’s daughter?” I asked

“Of course, she really likes Byul so sajang-nim sometimes asks for Byul’s favor to entertain her when he is very busy. But, the luck’s on my side, I get permissions to go out and meet Byul. Keke”, replied Seven.

“But hyung, how come we’ve never heard about her and saw her. Also, didn’t our sajang-nim just get married around three years ago? How come his daughter looks almost the same age as us?” asked Yeongbae.

That’s because, she is not sajang-nim’s real daughter. She was adopted a few months after sajang-nim’s wedding”, replied Seven.

“Why?” both of us asked.

 “Well, I heard various kind of version but I asked sajang-nim about it and he told me that Mia is his younger brother’s daughter.”    

Oh, I see. So she was adopted. That explained her age.

“She lost both her parents in an accident.”

Huh? That’s so sad.

“When our sajang-nim’s and his wife saw her at the funeral, they decided to adopt her as no other relatives were willing to take care of her.”

That’s so nice of Hyunseok’s hyung and his wife.  I mean who would want to adopt a child already that big, after few months of wedding too!

“Also, Mia’s mental state was not stable at that time, she refused to eat and talk.”

It must’ve been a big shock to her.

“After the adoption, Mrs. Yang tried very hard to make Mia open up to her and she succeeded only after six months”

That’s good. At least she already can mingle with others right?

“But hyung, why do we haven’t heard about her even a slightest bit?” asked Yeongbae.

I didn’t hear Dongwook hyung’s reply after that. I’m planning a way to approach her first. The sajang nim was married two years ago, few months later he adopted her.

She was cured six months later. It means around a year ago.

Her metal state can’t be that bad after the accident by now right?

They must have hanged around a lot.

She finally smiled and said, “Oppa, this time you must get me the stuffed bear, okay?”

And I was stunned, my heart stopped beating, I can’t take my eyes off her.

“Mia-yah, you haven’t meet JiYong and Youngbae right?” asked Dongwook hyung.

She smiled a little, seems to be thinking something.

“JiYong-ah, Yeongbae-ah. Iriwabwa.” Dongwook hyung called us.

I gulped. I don’t know what I was feeling. She clearly likes Yeongbae.
