The snow picked up heavily outside as the sky slowly turned from a pale blue to a dark and drowning navy. Soft white snowflakes covering the ground, and footsteps here and there of people hurrying home was all that was left outside. I sat , in the warmth of my small shop, the smell of warm coffee and hot chocolate filling the air. I weakly pressed my fingers against a warm mug, my eyes blankly looked off at a wall, not completely paying attention. It was such a beautiful night but all I felt.. all I could possible feel right then and there..... was the pain coming from my chest. It was as if someone was reached out and grabed my heart with no mercy, squeezing it so tight just to see how much I could endure, before completely and utterly breaking down….. And here I sat… at my limit, with tears beginning to roll down my slightly puffed cheeks.
