Amanda lives with her godmother in Seoul (who she calls ahjumma). her mother died the year before and her father left them when she was a baby. Her mother was Korean, Her father was African American. She loves kpop and jpop, and is attending a music school in seoul to fullfill her dream. She just hopes that she can learn to accept herself, and be accepted by others along the way.

Hyerin is Amanda's best friend from the first day of school. They have the same dream, and she hopes that they will be in an idol group together and be by each other's side. It was her idea to name their group Star*Dom, because it is what they will achieve in the future.

Talents: Rap, freetyle rap/dance

Likes: Freestyle competitions, showing off her talents at lunch or during break, T.O.P

Hates: haters (redundant, I know), being shown up, when her friends are being teased

Yeon joins the group simply because she wants to show off, but later realizes how valuable her friends are to her, and participates devotedly to their dream.

Yuya Matsua as Takashi (Shu-chan) Shugo (vocal/musician)

Age: 17

Talents: Bastketball, sing, guitar, piano, making Amanda smile

Likes: Basketball, music, Japanese food

Hates: when Amanda calls him Shu-chan, when Amanda is sad, being pushed around

Takashi is an exchange student from Japan who forms a fast friendship with Amanda and Hyerin. He loves to play music and make people feel the emotion in his songs. Soo Won wants him to be in a boy group with him, but can they get over their differences in style to make it work?

Fun Fact: Yuya Matsua played Song Sam Dong in the japanese musical for Dream High.

Nana Mizuki as Akari Sendo (main vocal)

Age: 17

Talents: vocals, aegyo, motivational speeches, fashion design

Likes: being in Star*Dom, hanging out with her group mates, fashion

Hates: being bullied, people who bully others, clothes that don't match, poorly used makeup

Stage name: Ari

Akari moved to Korea with her parents when she was 10. She wants to become a famous singer and alternated between Korea and Japan, but this dream changes when she joins Star*Dom. She now co-writes their songs with Amanda and also works with her in creating the choreography. She was the quiet girl in school and was often bullied until she met her friends.

Jinwoon as Kim Soo Won (leader)

Age:17

Talents: guitar, vocals

Likes: to make fun of Hyerin's chubby cheeks, calling Hyerin chub chub, rock'n roll, Amanda

Hates: arguing with Takashi, when Amanda is sad or being picked on, Hyerin getting back at him

Soo Won wants to be a famous idol one day, with his own unique style. He has caring feelings for Amanda and wants to be there for her. He wants to recruit Takashi as a group member because of his raw talent (and popularity with girls), but will he be able to put his stubborness aside long enough to listen to his partner?

Park Ji Min as Ye eun Cho (the maknae)

Age: 16

Talents: strong vocals, aegyo

Likes: being a part of Star*Dom with her unnies, cute things, sweets

Hates: being made fun of for her chubby appearance

Stage name: Yenny (like wondergirls)

Ye eun is a freshman who just wants to judged by her vocal talent, instead of her looks. When Amanda reaches out to her she starts to see her as an older sister and frequently hangs around her, up to the point when the kids in her class make fun of her even more. Amanda stands up for her, and she joins Star*Dom soon after.

Talents: Music Teacher/Motivator

Likes: To help his students, when Amanda and the others come to him for help

Hates: when his students hide problems from him

Young-sem is one of the new young teachers at the school (Jung-sem is the other). He wants to connect with his students (because he is so young) and help them to become successful.

Park Jeong Su (Leeteuk) as Jung-sem

Age: 28

Talents: English teacher, being more popular with the female students than Young-sem

Likes: when Hyerin makes him sweets, to have conversations in english

Hates: when Young-sem wins in their rivalry

Jung-sem is the new english teacher at the school. He hopes to make a good impression in his job and in his student's lives. He lives to be more handsome/popular that Young-sem.
