You took a long and deep breath before stepping inside; you kept your fingers crossed and slowly took a step and peek inside the library. Seeing Kris nowhere in sight, you sigh a little and started walking inside.

“Is he not coming? Really? That arrogant?” you whisper to yourself but when you walk deeper; you sae a familiar person sitting alone at a table with a few books beside him “H-he… Came.” you blink several times and walk towards him “Sorry for being late.” you mumbled *Usually he would’ve been mad at me for being late but… He’s not.* Kris just replies you with a nod and you realized how awkward you two were *Maybe doing the project with him is not such a good idea.*

“What topic are we going to do on?” he asks; not looking

“I suggest on Cleopatra, how she dominates the Egypt and Roman Empire, it’ll be interesting plus we might get extra marks because we’re doing something not so common around here.” you reply without looking either

It was awkward but meeting eyes with each other is more awkward than talking but not looking. Silently, he opens his laptop and typed in something which you know is probably the info on the topic you just said.

“I’ll… Umm go and find some books.” you purse your lips and left to the history section. You took a short glance at him and sigh *That was… awkward. I don’t know what’s better, us like this or you being mad at me.*

 You shake the thought away and scanned through the books on the shelves. After a few minutes of searching, you found some useful books and all of the books were big and thick ones. You inhale and grab the book; as if it’s gonna help but before you even made your way out of the section. You fell and so did the books.

“Aish!” you grunt
