“Min Hyun…” you croaked

You were staring back into the eyes of the person who used to mean a lot to you; you loved him but it was nothing compared to your love for Kris. Nothing… He looks directly into your eyes, maybe a lot going on in his mind right now but you couldn’t figure it out, you were out of place.

Kring!

Everyone started to get into class and yet both of you were standing there in the hallway looking at each other; his hands still holding your shoulders and none of you uttered a word. What’s there to say? How are you? How’s it going? Why now… Why must he face you now?

Slowly, he pulls his hands away and looks down, and then he suddenly walks pass you like nothing happened. You thought he wanted to say something, you thought you were going to say something but maybe his mind was just a clotted as yours. But you didn’t expect anything from him, not anymore.

School finally ended and not once did you saw Kris, it was a lucky day maybe. You even went to the rooftop during recess and even Ji Min didn’t appear; maybe they were together. A lot of people asked you when they saw you and the only one who seems to cheer you up were some of your closest classmates, Seul Mi, Min Jung and the other guys.

“Wait for me in front of the school okay? I’ll be right there, I just have to handle some things.” Luhan said

“Sure.” you nodded

“Hey, it’ll be okay.” he assures you and you nod again

You’re going to see your new house since you were sick of being in a place where your heart broke into millions of pieces which you didn’t know could happen considering your heart was shattered enough already. You walk to the front of the school and lie your back against the wall; holding your book up to your chest and staring down at the ground.

“Still here?” that voice… A voice you used to miss

You turn and saw Min Hyun with his hands in his pocket “Yeah…” you replied and it turned quiet; what were you supposed to say anyway? You didn’t break up with him in a good way either

“How are you?” he asks

“I…” you hesitated for a moment “I’m fine, you?”

“Good.” he answers “Aren’t you going home?”

“I’m… Waiting for someone.” you awkwardly reply
