It's the year 2008 as the Japanese Criminals Group Of Ultimate Crime in America robbed the nearest bank in their town.
Sadly this didn't work out as planned. They didn't knew the employee was a baseball champion and had his bat with him under the counter. When they were too busy with loading in the money, some other employee helped them with that, he hit two of them with the bat. Those two were loading in the money in the big bag they took with them. Of course one of them was standing by the door, on watch. Without that he noticed it the employee called the police while those other two were still knock out. The police came in and they took the watcher to the police office. He's in jail now for the rest of his life. The other two are in the hospital and will go to jail when they will wake from their coma's.

Yuma Nakayama is one of them. It's the year 2011 when he awakes from his coma. His partner awoke in the same year as they robbed the bank and is also in jail now. Yuma wakes up and the first thing he remembers is the robbery. Because he doesn't want to meet the police and doesn't want to live in jail he decides to leave the hospital immediately and goes to his hometown: Japan. He starts a normal life there and decides to leave his criminal life behind him. He changes his name to Akira Fujimoto and decides to live in a boarding house, because he doesn't have that much money; The police took everything away of course. He lives there with Yurina Kumai and her parents and goes to the same school as Yurina. After school he works for the rent of his room. There starts a friendship (and maybe even more) between Yurina and Yuma (Though she thinks his name is Akira). Will she find out about his past? And what happens when he meets his old partners again? Will he become a criminal again or will he leave everything behind him?
