 SUNGGYU - 60 SECONDS

Sehun woke up the next day, finding himself in his room. He had fallen asleep last night when he was watching Minyoung, as she was studying until dawn. He found a blanket on him when he first woke up, but didn't find Minyoung at all. Glancing around, he found the set of clothes that he had given her that night earlier, all neatly folded and on his bed. The bed seemed as if it hasn't been slept on all night. But he found the bottle of blue pills on his desk. Sehun stood up and walked out of his room, where he found his grandmother walk out of her room. "Grandma, have you seen Minyoung?" he asked her.
"Yeah, she left this morning," she said. "She has the most sweetest voice ever, have you noticed that? She doesn't speak in a loud tone, but in a soft tone.

Sehun's lips pressed into a straight line. "She rarely talks around me, or in school. Actually, she never talks to anyone."
"Explains why her voice is so soft. Well, better get ready for school, kiddo."
"Can I skip breakfast?"
His grandmother blinked. "Why?"
Sehun shrugged. "Just 'cause."

Sehun rushed out of his house, and towards the bread store, hoping to find Minyoung. He paused when he reached the bread shop, and looked through the windows. He looked everywhere inside, but the familiar figure of the girl was not inside. *Where is she?* Sehun held onto the bottle of pills in his hand. *Why did she suddenly leave so early? Maybe she's at school.* Sehun started to run towards the school. He skid to a stop when he reached to his homeroom. *Is she here?* Sehun stepped inside and found an empty seat in the back. *Maybe she's in the library?* He walked to the library and searched inside, went past shelves to shelves, she wasn't their either. *Where is she?* His thoughts were interrupted when the one-minute bell rang. Sehun turned and rushed out of the library and back to homeroom.

For the past 3 hours of class, Sehun couldn't help but look at the empty seat beside him. He sighed for the uptenth time that day. By lunch time, Sehun's friends gathered around him. "It's so warm here. What happened to the ice princess of this palace?" Kai asked.
Sehun stayed silent as he tapped his pencil against his desk. "I heard she got kicked out of her house yesterday," D.O said.
Sehun's eyes shifted to his friends. "How'd you find out?" he questioned.

"Chanyeol was walking pass your neighborhood, and found her being yelled at, and some guy was there with her. It seemed like he also goes to our school. He had on our uniforms," Kai explained.
"Who do you think that was?" Baekhyun asked.
"It's probably Sehun, since he lives right across from her," Chanyeol said, laughing wildly.

Suho smiled, and glanced at Sehun, who had a glum face on. "Okay, guys. Cut it out," Suho said. "Let's go get some lunch." They all stood up and made their way out of the classroom. Suho gave Sehun a pat on the back.

Sehun stopped Suho when they got out in the hallway. "Did you see?" Sehun asked him in a quiet tone, so no one could hear them.
"I saw you drag Minyoung out of the house," Suho said.
"You go to school early, did you see Minyoung?" Sehun questioned.
"Boy, you seemed very worried about her," Suho said. "And, yeah. I saw climb out her bedroom window with a duffel bag. That was the only time I saw her." Sehun sighed. "Don't worry. I'm sure she's fine."
Sehun smiled at is hyung. "Thanks, and don't tell anyone-"
"That it was you. Got it," Suho said, smiling. The two followed the others to the cafeteria.

Suho was the only one Sehun could depend on in school. Minyoung wasn't the only one who lived in his neighborhood, but Suho did too. He would find out everything that happens in the neighborhood. But he wasn't a gossiper like their friends. He always kept things to himself, never told anyone about anything. As the oldest, he was different than the other boys. He smiled a lot just to make one's day better. His motto was that a smile would always brighten everyone's day. He was the kind of person who never gave up.

Sehun sighed as he glanced around the cafeteria, and still no sign of Minyoung. Suho sat down beside Sehun at the lunch table, "May I ask a question?" Suho asked. Sehun nodded. "It seemed like you're really worried about Minyoung, that doesn't seem to happen often with you."
Sehun's eyes shifted else where, not making contact with his hyung's. "I'm not worried... Just-"
"You are, Sehun. I can see that you are," Suho said.
Sehun sighed. "Can we not talk about her? I-"
"Hey, Sehun, what's this bottle?" Chanyeol asked, taking out the bottle of blue pills from Sehun's bag.

Sehun's eyes slightly rounded as he snatched the bottle away from Chanyeol. "Sehun! I never knew that you were into drugs," D.O said, while Kai laughed.
"They're not drugs," Sehun said.
"Then what are they?" Baekhyun asked.
Sehun looked at the pills and said, "Aspirin."
"Blue colored aspirin?" Kai questioned.
"There are such things, okay?" Sehun sighed and rubbed his temple.

The day passed by slowly, and Sehun couldn't help but feel empty. Minyoung hasn't been seen all day, and he was worried. Sehun started to walk home an hour later walked home slower than he has usual. He always glanced at the other side of the road, expecting someone there, but always found no one. Sehun stopped when he reached the bread shop that he'd usually see Minyoung in. He walked inside without even knowing he was. He looked around, finding that not only did the place have bread, but also pastries and coffee. He sat down at a table and a waitress came over to take his order. All he asked for was iced tea.

Moments later, another waitress came with the tea, but she didn't leave. Sehun looked up from the ground. "Minyoung... What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I should be the one asking you that..." Minyoung answered.
"Oh, uh.. Nothing. I just thought I should just come and get a drink as usual," he lied.
"You don't come here often."
Sehun looked at her, while her head was lowered down. "What?"
"I come here everyday. I don't see you here. You're lying."

Sehun hesitated, but then chuckled. "Okay. You caught me." Minyoung turned to leave, but Sehun grabbed her arm. "Wait." Minyoung sighed and paused. "When do you get off work."
Minyoung glanced at Sehun over her shoulder. "5 minutes..."
Sehun nodded. "Then I'll wait for you," he said, smiling, sitting back in his seat. Minyoung's lips pressed into a firm straight line and walked away.

5 minutes had passed as if it was just 1 minute and Minyoung was finally off her shift. When she left the store, Sehun slammed his money into the table and ran out to catch up with Minyoung. "Minyoung!" he said, and grabbed her arm. Minyoung stopped in her tracks when Sehun's hand met her arm. His hand slid down to her hand, where she felt something cool against her skin. "You forgot this at my place." Minyoung took the bottle and slipped it into her pocket. "Where were you this morning?"

Minyoung looked at him, without saying anything she walked across the street and into an apartment building. Sehun followed, confused. The two got on the elevator to the 5th floor. Minyoung walked towards a door and pulled out her keys, unlocking the door and stepped inside. Sehun looked around. "Is this your place?" he looked around at the loft.

"How'd you afford this?"
"It's called saving money..."
He turned to Minyoung. "Are you going to school tomorrow?" he asked.
"Why do you still care?" Sehun stayed quiet. "You said that you'd stop caring from this day on."
"I'm not that kind of person. I care when I want to." Sehun looked at her. "Are you on drugs?" he asked.
Minyoung shot a glare at him. "What makes you think I am?"

"Your pills..."
"You don't have to worry about it." Minyoung glanced at the ground. "Are you leaving yet?"
Sehun sighed and nodded, turned to walk away.

"Sehun! Be a dear and put the garbage into the trash bin outside," his grandmother said.
Sehun walked towards the trash and pulled out the bag. "Alright..."
His grandmother looked at him. "Is everything okay, Sehun?" she asked.
Sehun looked at her and blinked. "Uh, yeah. Just tired..." he said and walked out.

As he walked outside, Sehun put the garbage next to the trash bin. He heard voices across the street, which made him look up. He found Minyoung's mother and Hyunchan also near their trash bin. Boxes surrounded the trash bin. Jaesun and his father came outside with a desk. They threw it on the ground, carelessly. His father patted his eldest son's back and walked back inside with he and his wife. Hyunchan stayed behind, staring at the boxes. Sehun walked up to Hyunchan. "What's all of this?" he asked.

Hyunchan opened one of the boxes, and found hundreds of books inside. "This is all of noona's stuff..."
Sehun looked up at the second story window. "What's going to happen to her room?" he asked.
"My parents are turning her room into Jaesun's library..." Hyunchan said. He looked up at Sehun. "Where is noona?" he asked.
Sehun looked at the little boy, who missed his older sister. "I'm sorry kiddo, I can't tell you..." Hyunchan sighed. Sehun looked at all of the boxes. "Do you think I can take these?"
"Why?" the little boy asked.

The week flew past, and it was finally the weekend. There was a knock on Minyoung's door. Minyoung walked to the door and opened it, finding Sehun in front of her. Just as she was about to close the door on him, Sehun stepped inside. "You're already kicking out your guest?"
"Why are you here?" Minyoung asked.
Sehun stepped outside and pushed in 4 boxes. "Here to give you back what's yours." Minyoung looked at the boxes. "Hyunchan told me that your parents were throwing all your stuff away. I wasn't going to let them do that, so, I decided to give these to you."
Minyoung glanced at the ground. "What's my room used for now?"
Sehun hesitated to answer. "It's for Jaesun's library."

Minyoung's tiny hands turned into fists. "Psh, of course. What else would they use it for?"
"Pardon?"
Minyoung shook her head. "Never mind," she whispered.
Sehun stayed silent for a while. "I have a question..." he said. "Why are your parents treating you like that?"

Yay, double update. ouo But this update is bad. u-u Guys, don't worry, this whole family situation isn't the only thing that's going on in Minyoung's life. There's more.

Chapter 46: The imaginary and the real sehun are different. But well, they could still be friends and minyoung life is better now. I prefer if she just moved on tho, sounds more realistic but this ending is good

Chapter 19: oh i love the story! In most story the male lead is always the complicated, cold and quiet one. While the female lead is bright even tho she has a lot of problems. I like how the characters here the opposite. I have always want to read a story when the female lead is the 'cold' one
