Chapter 1: This is a good start. You've introduced your characters in a fun and entertaining way and the dilemma of our heroine. What I really like about her is that she's not helplessly and she's not so incredibly independent that she comes off too strong. Plenty of writers have that problem, and you've shown that you're not one of them, so great job! :)
I would recommend doing a spelling and grammar check, however. Other than that, it's picture perfect.
