Alike

Description

Everyone's heard stories of Korean orphans being adopted to American parents. But it's different when you're an American adopted to Korean parents who live in Korea.

It's different because even though that's where you were raised, That's where your culture lies,That's where you're parents are from, That's where you call home you're still seen as a forigener.

Alike follows the lovely Kiji Sun Hee. She lost her parents at the young age of two and was adopted to a loving Korean couple at age five, (Kiji Bae, and Kiji Min Hee) She lived in Seoul with her new loving parents for five years until her father's food industry went international and they were moved to new York for 6 long more years. Now Sunni(as her American friends call her) is 17 and in the middle of her junior year in highschool.  Kiji foods has done well and it's time to move back.

While Sunni can't wait to return to the Korea she loves so dearly, she's about to find out Korea just may not love her back as one of her own.

Alrighty guys! Pretty boss description, eh? Well. That's a little out of context. Anyway, i just wanted to let any of my faithful  readers(readers who read all my stories!) know that YES! this is the "drama" Maya is going to star in in my story 43ver the flaw. If you haven't read it, I suggest you do! yeah that's it. Y'all probably don't even read this. ON WITH THE FOREWARD!

Foreword

Ever since I was two years old everyone told me how different I was from other kids. I didn't have parents, so I was put in the system. Three years past and I had seen so many other children adopted and taken from the homes. To be put in a home of their own. To start anew.

I believed what everyone told me you're different. You're not like other children. Then my fifth birthday rolled around. That's when I met them, Omma and Appa.

They couldn't have kids. They were different too, but they didn't think that way. Omma believed that even though she couldn't mother a child that didn't mean she couldn't be a mother. She would smile at other mothers and say I'm not any different from you. I have a lovely child of my own. Her name is Sun Hee.
