[Kang Residence]

“CHUKAHAE, Sora-ya! You’re done with school now. You can do anything that you like.” Inyoung greeted her when she and her friends entered the house,

“Noona, why don’t you let Sora-ya enter the house first before you greet her.” Sungmin said and gave her a smile, “Congratulations, Sora.”

“Yah! Sungmin oppa, she’s not the only one whom you should greet! We graduated too.” Hyorin said and placed her hands on her waist,

Sungmin just laughed on Hyorin’s childish act, “Mianhe, mianhe, Hyorin-ssi. Congratulations to you too and to Seungho-ssi.”

“Sora-ya, are you alright?” Sora’s mother asked her when she noticed that Sora didn’t sit with her friends, “Is there something wrong?”

“Nothing, omma. I must have been really tired from the ceremony, that’s all.” Sora answered,

Sora has been missing Jungsoo a lot and she has been really envious seeing Hyorin and Seungho together. Seeing them makes her remember Jungsoo and their relationship before he went for the army. No matter how much she reads his letters for her, it is not enough to fill up the emptiness she feels,

“Omma, can I just go out for a while?” she asked permission to her mom and she agreed. She left the people celebrating inside the house who just followed her by their stares.

She went outside the house and walked around the village. Their neighbors who have children who graduated also greeted her along the way.

One of their neighbors have Super Junior songs playing on their radio and it made her miss Jungsoo more, she has been walking along unconsciously and then she noticed that she ended up at their village park.

Jungsoo oppa, are you looking at the sky right now? I’m missing you so bad.

**Flashback**

Jungsoo and Sora are sitting on their favourite spot by the park and it’s Jungsoo’s last day and tomorrow is his enlistment day for the army. He tried to spend the night at the Park’s residence instead of staying at the dorm,

“Sora-ya, do you see that vast sky on top of us?” Jungsoo asked Sora and she just nodded,

“If you’re sad, just look at the sky and think of oppa. I’ll also do the same thinking of my princess.”

“Oppa, do you think two years will be a short wait for us? I’m sure I’m going to miss you every day while you are gone. I think I have to keep myself busy and do something that will not make me think of what day it is.” Sora then said,

Yah, mochi face! That’s one thing you will not do. Don’t overwork yourself; you don’t need to do that.” Jungsoo argued, “All you have to do is look up and think of me. We’re in a different place but still under the same sky.”
Jungsoo held Sora’s hand and pulled her until she’s standing in front of him, and let her sit on his lap,

“Aigoo! This is what I’m going to miss too, just being with my Princess Mochi face at a beautiful night like this.” he uttered and Sora playfully pinched Jungsoo’s nose.

“I’m going miss you a lot, oppa. Come back to me soon, arasso?” Sora said and shifted her left arm to encircle Jungsoo’s neck,

“Neh! Arasso, Mrs. Park Sora. Park Jungsoo will be back as soon as he can from the army and he’s going to be the man that you will be proud of.” Jungsoo answered, held Sora’s head by the nape and played his thumb on her face,

“Saranghae, my Mochi Face Princess. My Kang Sora.” He said and claimed Sora’s lips and gave her a sweet kiss that she will never forget.

***End of Flashback ***

Sora noticed that tears have been falling from her eyes when she touched her cheek and remembered how Jungsoo has been pinching pinching ever since she can remember and she tried doing it too, laughing at the same time thinking of how he with it.

“I will wait for you, oppa. Come back soon. I’m missing you, so much.” Sora said and stood up from the swing to go back home,

When she reached their place, she noticed that the curtains inside their house are all closed up. “Huh? Is there something wrong? Are all of them sleeping already?” she asked herself and tried calling her mom and dad but no one is answering.

“Where have they gone to? Even Hyorin and the others are not answering their phones.” Sora whined and tried contacting them again, but no to avail.

She held up her key and opened the door slowly and she saw a trail lined with candles with soft feathers and rose petals scattered around,

“What’s this?” she asked herself, following the trail inside the house. She stopped by the dining room when she saw a long stemmed white rose and a projector screen playing a scene of her and Jungsoo when they were younger,

“Mochi face, you’re cheeks are so plump!” the young Jungsoo said,

“Bleh! I don’t like you, Park Jungsoo!” the young Sora replied,

“You don’t have to like me, mochi face ‘coz I don’t like you, either!” he said and stuck his tongue out.


“Yeah, I don’t have to like you, Jungsoo oppa because I love you and I know you feel the same way too, right?” Sora uttered crying at the scene she saw at the projector.

She continued to follow the trail of feathers and roses and it brought her to their mini library, where she found a red rose and another set of projector playing another scene,

“Mochi face! Saengil Chuka Hamnida!” a bit older version of Jungsoo greeted on the screen,waving both of his hand. It was during her 18th birthday.

“Mochi face, I have been doing well. Have you? Been busy with the schedules these days so I can’t go home,” he added, then the camera showed another guy’s face and she heard him saying, “Get out of the way, Donghae-ya!”

Then Donghae shouted and informing the others that their hyung is making a video message. When everything calmed down, Jungsoo spoke again, “Mochi face, take good care of yourself. Happy Birthday!”

She cried a lot again, seeing Jungsoo’s smiling face greeting her a happy birthday, she remembered she played that over and over when she was younger and now, every time she misses him.

The trail didn’t stop there. She continued following it until it reached on their patio and saw a man standing by the terrace wearing white long sleeved shirt, black slacks and shiny black shoes, facing his back on her.

She felt her heart raced when she saw the guy. It felt like her heart will come out of her body, feeling excited and nervous at the same time. She knows this man and she has been thinking about him all this time that he’s gone.
