Hi everyone!

It's been a few weeks now and I wanted to get something off my chest, or else I feel like I wouldn't be able to properly write this story. 

Over the recent weeks, I've seen a lot of dips in engagement from readers. A chapter gets around 200-300 views on average, and probably only 4-5 comments, and that's when I'm lucky. Sometimes it's only 2-3. 

I came back to AFF hoping to find a community that'd be more supportive of each other. I work pretty long work hours, but I've really tried my best to write this story and update consistently. I've still love this story. 

I don't want to be that person, but I fear I have to, because my motivation has really been dwindling. I'm considering setting this fiction to friends-only to only commenters/upvoters who have been genuinely supporting the work, or maybe even discontinuing it. There's still a long way to go for this story, and with my motivation declining every week, I'm not sure how to continue if engagement stays this low.
