“INCOMING!” Chanyeol yelled in his loud, deep voice.

*What?* Sehun looked up, only to be smacked in the face by the basketball. “Argh.” Grabbing onto his injured eye, he went down like a falling tree. “Oof!” Sehun landed hard on the asphalt.

“Sehun!” His friends came flocking over. They surrounded him and peered down worriedly at their friend.

“Sehun, are you all right?” Suho questioned. They all held their breaths for him to answer.

Sehun opened his eyes and blinked several times.

“How many fingers am I holding up?” Chanyeol held out two fingers.

“Two.” Kai answered promptly. D.O. smacked his arm. “He was asking Sehun, you idiot!”

Sehun sat up and shook his head. He was still disoriented, not from the basketball but from the flashbacks of his childhood with Yoonhee. *I was such a child back then. Why was I so weak? Why did I spill so many tears in front of her? No wonder she didn’t see me as a potential crush.* Sehun shook his head one more time.

“Does your head hurt that mouth?” Baekhyun frowned, concerned.

Chanyeol put a hand on Sehun’s shoulder. “You okay, man?”

“I’m fine. Help me up.” He held out his hand. Kai took it and yanked him up.

“You need to go to the hospital?” Baekhyun asked. “Over this?” Sehun laughed. “Yeah, right. I would be the laughing stock of the school.”

“Didn’t you know? You already are.” Chanyeol grinned. Sehun socked his arm lightly with a grin.

“One more game?” Chanyeol twirled the basketball around his finger.

“Aww, please no.” D.O. grieved.

“Yes, and do not put me in the same team as him.” Kai jabbed his thumb in the direction of his cousin. D.O. scowled. “Don’t come to me for help with your calculus homework!” “I can go to Suho anyways!” Kai stuck out his tongue.

“All right. Enough squabbling, you two. Me, Baek, and Kai on one team. Suho and D.O. can be with the basketball god Sehun.” Chanyeol ordered.

Sehun rolled his eyes but smiled. “If Sehun is the basketball god, what does that make me?” Kai questioned.

“A basketball loser.” D.O. muttered.

“I heard that!” Kai yelled. “Give me the ball, so I can squish him like a fly!” He tried to get the ball, but Chanyeol raised it over his hand with a bored yawn. “Let’s play already.”

Sehun walked up to the center of the court and eyed the ball. However, his mind was on Yoonhee. *Damn. She became even more beautiful. How the heck am I supposed to survive living under one roof with a goddess?*

Suho whistled, and his head was back in the game.

After the game, Chanyeol and Sehun walked home together since they lived next to each other.

Chanyeol skillfully twirled the basketball around his finger and glanced at Sehun. “What were you thinking so deeply about that you let D.O. hit you with the ball?” He shrugged as casually as possible. “Just about stuff.”

“What kind of stuff?” Chanyeol questioned. “Just stuff!” Sehun argued.

“Girl stuff?” Chanyeol grinned and wiggled his eyebrows with a knowing look.

“Give me that!” Sehun snatched the ball away from him and rotated it on his finger. It spun twice as face and stayed balance on top of his long finger.

“A-ha! So it is a girl! You are so caught!” Chanyeol burst into laughter. He nudged Sehun with a broad grin. “Tell me. Who are you thinking about? Sara? Inhee? All of them?”

*Yoonhee.* Sehun thought with a secretive smile.

“Tell me!” Chanyeol shook him. The ball went rolling across the ground.

“Hey!” Sehun ran after the ball and quickly picked it up. Coincidentally, he was in front of his house.

“Whoa…who is that?” Chanyeol asked, awe in his voice. Sehun glanced back to see Chanyeol staring at something in the window. Sehun followed his gaze, and his own eyes widened. Yoonhee was standing in her bedroom. She gathered her hair into a ponytail, blew air into her cheeks, and let her long hair fall back down.

“I’m not imagining things right? There’s a hot chick in your house?!” Chanyeol rubbed his eyes and blinked a few times to make sure he wasn’t hallucinating.

Sehun suddenly felt possessive. He didn’t want anyone to look at her in such a manner. “It’s getting late. Go home, Chanyeol.” Sehun pushed him.
