Jang Woo and Eunjung broke their kiss. Jang Woo then held Eunjung's hands tightly.

“ Eunjung-ah, Let's get married” he stared at Eunjung deeply.

Eunjung startled. If she was like any other woman generally, she would be happy right now. Being proposed by the man she loved, she would embrace Jang Woo and agreed to his proposal to marry him. However, she was not like any other ordinary women. She was Ham Eunjung, who hates the idea of marriage.

“Let's date longer” Eunjung replied him, avoiding having eye contact with Jang Woo.

“why do we need to date longer, Eunjung- ah? Isn't three years long enough for the both of us?” Jang Woo questioned Eunjung. 

Eunjung stood up from Jang Woo's lap. She walked to and fro as she was thinking how to answer Jang Woo. She inhaled deeply before turning to face Jang Woo.

“I don't think getting married is a good idea. I meant we both are still young and we still have a bright future awaiting us. Getting married will just be an obstacle for us to reach our bright future.” Eunjung reasoned with Jang Woo

Jang Woo hid the ring which he prepared before in his pocket. He walked closed to Eunjung. Hurt was seen clearly in his eyes “you mean there won't be any future if we get married?” he asked in disbelief, “You... you mean I won't be a part in your future life?” Jang Woo's voice was shaking. He could not hide his disappointment because of Eunjung's refusal to marry him. However, the fact that Eunjung never counted him to be part of her life in the future, hurt him very much.

“Oppa, I love you... but getting married is just ridiculous” Eunjung said emotionless.

“So, dating me does not mean that we are getting married. Is that what you mean?” Jang Woo asked again.

Eunjung nodded softly. She was still as emotionless as before.

Jang Woo gulped. His eyes were getting teary as his heart was aching, “If that's the case, I don't think we can continue our relationship anymore. We do not agree even in this basic matter”

Eunjung nodded softly, “I think this is the best way” she walked away leaving the devastated Jang Woo alone in his apartment.
