“Hyejin! Can you come here for a moment?" I heard umma shouted. I went following to where her voice came from and ended up in the living room. She was sitting on the sofa waiting for me with a smile.

"Yes umma, why did you call you beloved daughter?" I sat down next to her on the sofa as I linked my arm with hers.

“Hyejin, when do you decide on getting a boyfriend?" she asked me as she pat my hand.

" Aww~ Umma.” I frowned. Talking about anything would interest me except talking about getting a boyfriend.

“I’m serious.” She said in a serious tone, serious, gaze, and serious posture. I think she is serious this time.

“I'm not sure, no one seems to have asked me out yet" I pouted.

"That's because you are so hard to approach! I know that you are kind hearted and caring but from first approach you don't seem like it.” She sighed.

"I know, that's why I'm waiting for that one special person to realize it" I gave her a big smile.

"I wonder how long that one person is going to come" she shook her head as she looked away.

"If I don’t get a boyfriend then I'll just be single forever and live with you and appa" I gave her a hug, which she didn’t respond back.

"How would you like it if we all took a vacation?" she changed the topic suddenly.

"Eh? Why all of a sudden?" I asked back although a vacation does sound nice right now.

"You don't want to go have fun and shopping?" she frowned.

"Of course I do but what about appa's work?"

"He's going to take a break from it, I actually have it all plan out in where we're going. It's going to be by a beach, you'll love it." she said happily.

"Well the beach does sound nice. When are we going?"

"You can start packing now, we'll leave in 3 days."  She raised three fingers up.

"Woah~ 3 days what's the hurry umma? I still need to figure out what to bring and all."

"It's just the sooner we get there the sooner we get to relax" she gave me a smile.

"Oh okay." I nodded.

“We’re going to take a plane trip so bring so facial mask so that the two of us can use it during the plane ride.” She smiled widely.

“Of course, by the time we get there the two of us would look more like sisters rather than mother and daughter.” I joked.

“I wish~” She giggled.

“I think I don’t have many facial mask left, I should go buy some right now so that we can use it during our vacation. The air is different there so we’ll need to take care of our skin.” I said to her.

“You should go buy some right now to save the rest of the time for packing.” She said to me.

“Okay umma, I’m going to buy some that would make your skin glow~!” I said as I got up.

“If you say so then I believe in you.” She said as she touched her cheek. For a mother in the mid-thirties she still looks young and has very nice skin. I just hope I grow old like her.

“Bye-bye~” I waved to her before running out the living room excited.

I was all happy to know that our family is going on a vacation to a beach but little did I know that it wasn't a vacation for fun. I had suspicions but I believed in umma, and I didn’t expect anything negative would happen to me.
