[set in the universe where Kris and Suho live apart. this doesn't actually happen haha]

“Xiumin-hyung! Wake up! Wake up!”

Xiumin stirs in his bed. For some reason, it feels claustrophobic, too small for him. He groans, stretches, and his feet hit the end of the bed.

Strange. He turns over a couple of times and the bed promptly breaks under his weight.

“What?!” He bolts upright, knocking his forehead straight into another person.

Xiumin screeches in pain and falls backwards onto his broken bed. The splintered wood pricks him under his baby blue covers. He squeezes his eyes shut, not wanting to deal with anything so early in the morning.

“Baozi! Help us!” Another whiny voice sounds from his left. A pair of adult hands grasp his bare shoulders, pulling him to a standing position. Xiumin struggles to get his balance, feeling just a little dizzy and…swollen?

“What is it? Did Chen bully Tao again? Does Luhan miss Sehun? What? What?!” He groans and kneads his eye with his palm, rubbing sleep from his eyes.

“What?” He repeats when nobody answers his questions and opens his eyes.

Right in front of him are four very much adult men. Standing in front of them is a small boy of about seven with crew-cut hair and fairly tan skin.

The boy slowly points at Xiumin's crotch and sniggers.

Xiumin screams.

“What do you mean by ‘that’s appa’?!” Xiumin gasps. After rummaging through Kris’s cupboard, all of them had found something to wear, even though the clothes were a little loose on Luhan and a bit too tight on Tao’s shoulders.

The boy, or Kris, whatever, giggles and pokes Xiumin’s cheeks again.

“Hehe…squishy. Hey, Tao gege, come feel baozi.” Kris squishes both of Xiumin’s cheeks with his palms until his lips resemble a figure eight.

“Hehe.”

“Kris, come sit beside Tao gege.” Tao moves to the side gracefully and pats the couch with his hand. He can see Xiumin getting more frustrated by the second, and the last thing anyone wants is an angry Xiumin.

“Ok!” Kris enthusiastically leaves Xiumin to sit beside Tao. He immediately wraps his arms around Tao’s waist, snuggling into his side.

In less than a minute, Kris’s asleep.

Everyone breathes a sigh of relief.

“So, what you’re saying, is that someone, or something, made us all into adults, and ap- Kris into a kid?” Xiumin leans forward, his -or Kris’s- striped shirt slipping off one shoulder.

“Looks like it.” Luhan says glumly.

“Hey, but at least we’re good looking!” Chen pipes up from the very end of the couch. “I mean, look at me. Woah.”

“Hey, let’s call Suho and the others. Maybe they’re like us too.” Lay suggests, completely ignoring Chen.

“Ooh, yeah. Or maybe they haven’t changed.” Tao grins while rocking Kris back and forth in his arms.

Kris is his thumb.

“Oh man, I have to take a picture of that. Tao, hold him still.” Chen dashes to Kris’s room to presumably, look for a camera.

“This guy grows up to be our father.” Luhan sighs. “It’s crazy.”

In Tao’s arms, Kris drools a little.

“Suho, get off the damn phone!” Lay hears Chanyeol- is that? The voice is way too deep- screech as poundings sound on a door. Lay presumes that Suho’s stolen the phone from the rest of them. Very unlike Suho. He’s probably hiding in the toilet or the broom cupboard.

“Hello Lay!” Suho yells down the device. “I like your dimples!”

The phone quality is a little crackly, and since Suho’s yelling, Lay hears 's'.

“What?!” Lay’s voice reaches heights he never thought he could hit. “s?! What s?!”

“Hehe. Thanks, I like your s too!”

Lay hears the door being wrenched open and hears Suho’s shrill scream as the phone is wrestled away from the kid in a rush of static over the phone.

Deep, heavy breathing fills the other end with the background of Suho and Sehun’s (?) muffled yelling.

Lay thinks, maybe it’s a serial killer who’s taken over the other side.

“Sorry. Suho turned into a kid. I’m Chanyeol. Is this happening to you too?”

Chanyeol’s voice is deep and gravelly. Honestly, it scares Lay.

“Y-yeah. Kris is a kid.”

Lay hears static, which he takes to be Chanyeol’s relieved sigh.

“Great. Mind if we come over?”

Lay heaves a great sigh of relief.

“No, please do.”

This is the first part of the special story so the next part will be the main part :D (still technically chapter 12 hehe). This might spread into three parts, I'll make it up as I go along ^__^
