December 21, 2012 was the day that changed everything. The solar eclipsed plunged the world into darkness for twenty eight days and twenty eight nights. Along with the darkness came the dark haze that engulfed the world, seeping into all the small crevices it can get itself into.

It destroyed everything in its path. Electricity seized to function. Nuclear power plants exploded, killing a quarter of the human population. Three quarter of the population that survived the nuclear explosion was taken by a plague. Majority of the human’s population that was taken by the plague didn’t survive past the fourteenth day of the darkness, now dubbed as The Hazed.

When the darkness lifted the world had become an unknown waste. Reality contorted with fiction.

Unknown to majority of the humans that were unaffected by the plague, less than one percent of those that were taken by the plague survive. However, the plagued had changed those survivors – forever.

This was the catalyst that started the ongoing war between the Mortals, regular human that was not affected by the plague and the Immortals, humans that survived the plague.
