I stand in front of the mirror once again. My beautiful wedding dress wraps around my body, showing my figure in its best. My wedding veil is on the side of the mirror, waiting for me to take it and put it on my head. But I'm reluctant to do so. I'm here, tortured by the fact that I have to marry a guy I know nothing about in approximately 15 minutes.

Why is my life so sad?

If only I stay in Melbourne and didn't fly up here upon my mother's 'supposedly urgent' matter, I would still be in my loft, thinking about ways to spend the day with my bestfriend Ki Bum.

Yet I'm here. Stuck in this ty situation.

I don't want to get married, not now, not this early and most importantly, not to the guy I am not in love with. I dreamt about my own fairytale. In which I would be a princess living with my knight in shining armor or my prince on a white horse.

Prince, my arse! I probably get a monster in disguise instead!

My mom ruined my life for me the day she promised to marry me off with the son of her best friend.

I love her, don't get me wrong. But eversince that day, I've been living hell in this marriage preparation thingy. And it started right after I flew half the world because my mom said she's dying. DYING, what a freaking ridiculous lie!!!

I laid my lazy on the bed, rolling and stretching my body while listening to music. I could hear the voice of Adam Levine filling my room. Oh that heavenly voice combined with y, gorgeous, damn hot body and face!! Could a guy be any more perfect?!

Ahh, Adam, I wish I can meet you someday.

"Joohyun!" Damn it! That startled me! I spun around and found Ki Bum with worried, teary eyes.

"What's up, dudeee?"

"Cut the crap! It's your mom!"

I sprang up instantly. My mom?? What's wrong with my mom??

"What happened?"

"Auntie... Auntie is sick! She told my mom about it!"

You've gotta be kidding me! My mom is the strongest person in this world. She never, ever got sick be it just flu or fever. She once stood in the rain for hours, and the next morning, she was still as hyper and as energetic as ever. Second case, when all of us (me. My brothers and my father) got sick, she was the only one who was as healthy as a healthy horse (well, you know what I mean). Anyways, the news got me baffled. I couldn't believe it.

"It's not funny, Ki Bum..."

"I'm not kidding! And I prefer you call me by KEY!"

"No ! Did my mom call you?"

"No, my mom called me and told me the news! You better go back and spend time with her"

Holy cow this is serious!

"Is it that bad?"

"Very bad, Joohyun! You have to go home! Ask Jung Soo Hyung, he probably knows..."

"Jung Soo Oppa knows nothing. I just called him a while ago, but he said none about me having to go home"

Ki Bum raised his eyebrows at me. "Maybe he's too busy to notice?"

Hmmm, now that makes sense. He's the busy body in the family. Running his growing business.

"Tae Min?"

"Naaah, called him but he only talked about getting the new iPad. Ask me to buy it for him. That little--"

"Maybe your mom is hiding this! Anyways, it's best for you to check it yourself first"

I nod. "Yeah, I guess that's the best way. I'll book the tickets as soon as possible"

Again, and again, Ki Bum looked at me as if I'm crazy. "You think you cannot do it now?!"

"Can't you see I'm in the middle of something?"

"Like rolling your lazy on your bed while listening to Maroon 5 and having chips???!"

Jeez, I get the point, alright! So I sat up, glared at him then my laptop which was beside me anyways.

"Good girl. I'll see you in 20 minutes. We're going for a movie"

Wait, whaaaaat?! When did I agree to go for a movie with him? That punk!!!

Long story short, my mom faked her dying state and forced me to get married instead.

What did she say?

"Joo Hyun!!! I am dying! I am dying to see you get married to him!! Isn't that dying enough for you??!!"

You know how ridiculous and insane that sounds? Very, totally, completely MAD!!!

But I didn't have the strength to go against her. No matter how I threatened her, she would backfire with bigger, more dangerous, life-threatening threats. This is the bad part of having a smart, stubborn mother. I will never, ever win over her.

"Babyyyy, you ready?"

I turn around, finding my mom with the biggest smile ever which I would love to wipe away. Here I am, tortured. And there she is, in pure happiness. Life for me.

"Hey Joo, Ready?"

"Ki Bum-ah..." I look at him with teary, pleading eyes. Maybe he can take me away from here. And I'll have my story like the runaway bride. And my life will be happy again. Yipppiiiiieeee!!

" it up, let's go. I know this is hard, but you agreed to this" damn it, good for nothing Kim Ki Bum!

Sighing, I take his hand and walks out from the room. Here I go... In moments now, I'll be married... To someone I don't know... To a stranger...

God, can you please help me? I don't want to get married to him... I don't want to get married with Jung Yun Ho, whom I just know the name...
